The man who always looks like he's taking a shit, would be an interesting acquisition. Rotation with the current front 3 would be pretty dangerous.

Impressed me a lot in last few games, very unpredictable player and hard to defend. Hope Arsenal don't get him.

He won't score some crazy amount of goals like Son and Kane but he will get plenty of assists and draw fouls in dangerous areas. His goalscoring record in CL is actually pretty good too.

Almost every time I watch him he seems to make very poor choices and the ball bounces off him way too often. He doesn't strike me as anything too special. I know beggars can't be choosers and his record might suggest i'm wrong but I do wonder how 'good' he'd be in a lesser team (which is pretty much anywhere else).

are you kidding me

No. Never really rated him and he plays in a team that create chances by the bucketload. He'd be on massive wages too for what would always be second fiddle. How much do you think he'd cost?

Not a great goal-scoring record. However aside from that (which is arguably a deal-breaker) he seems to fit us:

1) PL exp and relatively young (25)
2) Can play anywhere across the front line and doesn't need ball play into feet.
3) Good work rate, especially when without the ball.

Made for arsenal. He'll want 300k a week and they're stupid enough to pay it. From our point of view we would have to ask if he's better that stevie B. He's not in my opinion so no point getting him.

He's 3 years older than Kulusevski and (statistically) has less end product, yet would cost about 50% more and would almost certainly demand higher wages.

For the big games, Guardiola has invariably benched him and opted for a false-9. That doesn't seem like someone who would provide the back-up for Kane that we need.

I thought Jesus gets played in big games; e.g against Real Madrid in CL.

I get what you say comparing him to Kulu, which is fair enough. However the Kulu deal was also a bigger risk because there's a higher chance that it doesn't work out (new league etc etc). The fact that it did is great for us, but this doesn't always happen (e.g. Ndom, Lo Celso etc etc).

With Jesus at least the 'worst case' sceanrio wont be as bad as Ndom and GLC, due to prior PL exp.

You pay a premium because the risk is smaller (or the re-sale value bigger); whether you like the trade-off is subjective.

Just doesn't really do it for me and I'm sure there's better to be had for less outlay.
It's a no for me.
