Could there be any surprises, as in last years version of this fixture?

I can't see it myself, but which of our youth players would be in the position for a surprise callup? Bostock? Rose?

It says something about the strength of our squad that it would take a LOT of injuries before that would be the case though... this year we can genuinely beat Arsenal without the help of a surprise, we can outplay and beat them with the squad we have.

yep pav might start

and defoe might score

Too right. Where's all this confidence coming from? Delusional! Arsenal are favourites, and rightly so. Tonight is their best team against our (pretty much) best team. And their best has been better than our best for some time.

We're closer to them than we have been for years, so now and again we get a result - whereas when the gap was a gulf, we didn't.

But they'll still be confident of taking three points - and we'll still do well to get a draw.

Jesus, who let Buzz Killington in?

im surrounded by computers, but if I watched the game here, i'd probably be lining up at a job centre in the morning, hopefully i can sneak out a bit early and make do with the radio on the trip home.

feels like a 1-1 though, us to score first. VDV via Pen.

what do you do? is there no way of sticking it on and doing an old "CTRL+Tab" whenever someone comes by?

Cant bloody wait. Always my favourite game of the season and never seems to disappoint.

I actually think there is less hype about this fixture than normal, because of some of the huge games we have had this year in the CL! Normally at home to the Arse is as big as it gets... and for me it still is. COYS!

i think a draw is accpteable for both teams. LEts not get carried away from our presepective. WE're a fine side one to be feared and victory is on our agenda but agsint a very good ubeaten side, a draw is acceptable, it puts us within a victory of going above City with City still to play. For the scum any points they get at WHL would be precious and hard fought but a draw at spurs won't ruin thier title chances as they still have to play UTD and UTD have to face chelsea.

I always say that evening games at home work in our favour rather than these awful 12:45 games where the fans don't seem up for it. If Arsenal are as bad as Utd were last night, we've got a shot especially if JJ,Hudd or Crouch don't start.
