Listened to the Spurs Show podcast this morning and one of the guys summed it up properly.

After Mondays game he felt no fear, woke up Tuesday again no fear, Wednesday there will be a little fear, and by Friday/Saturday he will be a gibbering wreck.

Well its nearly Friday!!!!!

Usually, but AVB seems very organised in his approach. I'm expecting a tight game.

I would be over the moon if we could control this game and force our style on them. Especially in a NLD, would be a real signal to the top teams. It is in us to do this.

Arsenal have got so much riding on this though! I expect our players to be put under some serious pressure. Hard to call!

Not confident at all and I would hate losing to those mugs at the Lane. This game is so bloody important. We could either end up with them breathing down our necks 1 point behind or put them 7 behind ahead of a couple of very difficult games.

I'm not liking this. Good thing I'll be hungover and apathetic this Sunday.

I agree. Also this is a good example to use for those who have to explain a "6 pointer" to the missus!

I'm confident on this one. Arsenal have got it in their locker to cause us problems but I'm convinced AVB will have his plan well thought out and Bale will continue his Game dominace. We'll win - Just hoping the crowd false the shift of nerves on them with an electric atmosphere from Kick Off.

I agree.
I've been reading all of these I'm not confident comments and thinking it is just the usual If I close my eyes the boogey-man won't be there nonsense, TBH.
The facts are these:
We are at home = gives us an advantage
We are above them in the table and the table doesn't lie = gives us an advantage
We are on better form than them = gives us an advantage
A draw is better for us than them, they need to win and any team opening up against Gareth Bale at the moment is going to be in trouble and jittery as hell = gives us an advantage
Both sides can score, but our defence is more solid than theirs = gives us an advantage

Besides, we have The Little Carrot...and I would bet he has been holding a how to fook the ArseScum over dossier from way back when he was Maureen's eyes and ears.

It's a derby so it is right that anything can happen, and my confidence rating is accordingly only on moderate, but enough of this stinky BS like we are the Seven Dwarfs playing the Harlem Globe Trotters in a basket ball match

I have to leave for work literally straight after the game, to a workplace full of gooners. Could either be one of my best shifts at work or my worst. I'm fucking scared.

It's funny, I don't think any pundit or 'expert' has tipped us to win which is just how I like it actually.

Jamie Redknapp here spouting the same old rhetoric that Levy's a business man and will sell Bale this summer yadda yadda.

http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,,18932_8530884,00.html

He said the same thing after the Newcastle game in the studio. I think people, media etc, are seriously underestimating what price Levy would put on Bale - its going to be massive, they all seem to think 40 million will do it lol.

The price Levy puts on Bale has nothing to do with reflecting the general market per se (well it has and it hasn't) - its the price it would take for us to sell him, as obvious as it sounds. Its supposed to be well over the 'market rate' as we don't wont to sell him (I would hope anyway) ie...the bigger the fee demanded, the bigger deterrent. The same for any Club who don't want to lose their prize asset and we'll be no different - then add the Levy factor who rinses more than anyone else. I would be fucking stunned if Bale was sold for 40 million this summer.

I think Levy will set at least a 60 million fee, maybe even 70 million.

It's just irritating the same regurgitated crap by so called experts, not giving any real depth to proceedings like Gary Neville does and it just leaves me wondering how the fuck some of them still remain employed to give their opinions on a regular basis.

The same 'offer too good to turn down' scenario applies to literally every chairman of every club so it's cute how they always seem to stigmatise only us and Levy of acting 'business' like when that is how you run a successful club in these modern times.

Couldn't agree more - on both points.
