Hello Spurs Community long time no see, COYS!

Bloody hell. Look what le chat dragged in. Hey you. How's tricks?

I have one comment about that team - gulp.

Mind you, what else we could do, I'm not sure. Might just be goals in this, you'd fancy. Especially with a Villa side looking to impress Msr Houllier.

Although I've seen Hudd have some good games at center back, I would much prefer it if he didn't play there. I'm really not comfortable with it, if I was a Villa player I would be pleased to see him and Bassong as a defensive pairing. Why couldn't we recall Walker or Caulker instead of playing a midfielder in defence?

Bassong and Hudd together at the back scares me a bit.

Hopefully got enough going forward to see off Villa. Need big games as usual from VDV, Bale and Modric.

Jenas needs to be on his game today - no hiding and going missing in the engine room. If the ITK was true that he was offered to Villa in the summer then maybe he will be raring for this one.

What has happened to Stephen Ireland? Is he injured or just too rubbish nowadays to get in to Villa's starting 11?

Hmm, it's a very attacking team we're putting out. THudd needs to slot in nicely at centre-back and Jenas has to play to his very best so we don't get overrun in midfield.

I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being a high scoring match...3-3 or 4-3.

JJ has been playing well and I'm not worried about having him in the centre alongside Modric. I think with the injuries it is not a bad side.

I would have kept hudd in midfield and play either Corluka or Sandro at centre back. I hope Jenas can keep possession. In Hudds absence in CM he really needs to do that. I'm just slightly concerned that all that's going to happen is gomes rolls the ball out to hudd and the hudd looks long for crouch. I hope it doesn't get too predictable

Not happy with Hudd at CB

Not happy with no Lennon in the side

Not happy with a Pav/Crouch combination.

Happy Sandro is on the bench

I am not so confident. Huddlestone may be used to counter Heskey's physical presence. But there is no holding midfielder, which I think is a mistake. Pav scores when he gets the chance but he does not help us keep the ball so they are going to get chances to counter. I can see us getting out muscled and labouring to a 0-0.
