Ive always felt we have an inferiority complex against the big teams like we dont believe enough.
Either that or we play well then do something stupid and cost ourselves the game.

Yep. Something spursy will happen. No doubt about that. It's both, I think. We always shoot ourselves in the foot leading to litte belief and thats when the disaster kicks in and GD takes a major hit.

Atmosphere should be excellent with it beng an evening game. Hope it helps our players believe a bit more. I'd love to see Mourinhos face if we beat them!

I thought we played well at their place. They had the quality and we didn't but we did Ok. I'm hoping we can be a bit more solid and take the chances that come our way. We don't have much to lose so I just want to see a positive performance, anything more will be a bonus!

Hmmm , quite bullish on this page . I was half expecting comparable predictions to when we played Arse a few months back .

Never seen such certainty of disaster on SC as before that match....me included . Ended 1-1 and for many (not BC) the match showed we could do a different style to normal , a counterattacking style. I found it encouraging , tho we haven't seen that way of playing since .

Its Spurs so anything can happen , but if we play as we have recently , I can't see anything other than a defeat...and poss a big one .

I feel sick to the pit of my stomach. I'm getting too old for all this worrying over a game of football. I keep trying to psych myself up to take the dogs for a walk over the fields but I just cant do it yet.

gonna be a very tough game, we simply cant give as many chances as we gave swansea, leicester and utd

Have to stay tight and compact, chosing our time to attack on the counter carefully or not to bother attacking at all. Call me a tactician but I'd rather be bored for 90 and win 1-0 than to lose 3-0 again in an open fixture.

Unfortunately with Mourinho at the helm they are 10x more deadly in front of goal and their unity as an attacking force is almost unbreakable. if we are 2-0 down at half time, open the can and go all out. If we lose 6-0 then so be it, but lets set out for a sensible win over them and take the game as it comes.

They will allow us to attack at the start and that's when we need to be clinical.

On the train from Bristol now as meeting a mate there for a few bevvys first. Trains full of pissed up Swansea fans!

Not overly optimistic but I never get a chance to see us play one of the big boys so looking forward to it.

Such a difference from Sunday when we didn't have to wait long. Hate waiting til 5.30. Such a long day, the nerves will kick in in a few hours. Hate them or not, Chelsea are IMO the best team in the league. Going to be very tough, Mourinho is no slouch. Hopefully we are on our best day and catch them on a bad one. Think we'll need the luck we had at Leicester last week as well. Just give me a goal and I'll be happy.
