There were a good few problems tbf and we're still a way from being the finished article, but we've just thumped chelsea - whilst handing them a couple of goals - so I'm looking forward to what we can become once we iron out the wrinkles and build up the squad.

Next season will be interesting.

What's good about that win is we can go into games with anyone now and fancy it.

I dont understand how Bentaleb continuously plays. I really dont. He's looked the worst out of all our CM's(Paulinho doesnt count as Poch has used him more in the AM3). FFS, Bentaleb hasnt looked prem standard all season. I think the kid has potential, but there is absolutely no reason he should be playing in these games. None.

We're gonna get killed in the midfield and destroyed down the left. We have to pray Chelsea is off their game to even hold this to a 3-0 game. Appalling selection.

Oh good. So we'll be down to 7 men shortly then. Rose and Bentaleb will get destroyed so it'll be like they arent even playing. Townsend is always questionable. And a Spurs player against Maureen is always disciplined and Fazio is always a little too aggressive. 5-0 coming right up.

And the left. Cant forgetabout the left. We're gonna have no midfield and no left side. Appalling.

This is an appalling selection that is pretty much giving Chelsea a big win. We're gonna need Lloris to put in his best ever performance to keep it at a 3-0 defeat.

People are scared to say it because they care too much about being negged.

Fact is, pretty sure most people realize we have given up the left and the midfield in this game. No strength, no ball winner, no one to hold the ball in the midfield. And a "left back" who is a awful at the back that pretty much asks to be shredded every game he plays.

You don't often get 3rd chances in life. Daniel Levy needs to make ample cash resources available to Pochettino in this winter window. This team can make top 4 and win a trophy, but we will need at least 2-3 new players brought in to shore up depth and cope with all competitions and future injuries. A CB, a CM, and a striker and we can really transform this season into something special. With the new television deal and an increase in revenues that equal Champions League qualifications, it's time to us to be pro-active for once in the January market and take advantage of our position instead of playing it conservative.
