thanks only time to watch the goals.

have to say all taken well, but definitely a soft pen

Trouble with watching just the goal/highlights you're not aware of the penalty appeal minutes before this one was given. I think the ref thought he ought to give this as he'd refused what I consider a more obvious one on Kane. No attempt to play the ball just a strong nudge in Harry's back.

Good game but swedish fans suck

Out of a 10k crowd there must have been around 8000 Spurs fans there yesterday. Only a very small number of English fans scattered around.

8k Spurs fans in a relatively small foreign country paying 56 quid a ticket for a pre season friendly, while singing throughout the game, including some old classics that you hardly ever hear at The Lane(cant smile without you, it's a grand old team, my eyes have seen the glory, my name is Nicola Berti etc).

Did you really expect more?

£50 odd for a ticket apparently. Not a chance I'd pay that for a preseason friendly so don't blame the locals that also refused to do so.

just did the maths, and yeah its around that price over here when 2 big European clubs come over. maybe its easier to fill the stadium if they held the game over in US or Asia where we get so few European sides come visit.

Yeah, plus a lot of the Scandinavian fans are able to go to a few games a year in the UK if they like as it's only a short flight away whereas further afield it's a once every few years thing for most (or perhaps even never) so clubs touring their countries isn't as big a deal for them as it is for the fans in countries on the other side of the world.

yap, the organizers should have done something thou, maybe open it up to schools or youth football teams or something, offer free/heavily discounted tickets so more people will be able to see these big sides. try to fill up the seats i guess.

I've been thinking about it for a couple days, and I'm still not quite sure why Vorm was getting stick for their goal. Fans having a moan, I suppose.

Keeper gets beat near-post, keeper gets stick. Even happens to Lloris.

It was a great shot. Walker caught out of position, and probably should have taken a yellow and grabbed the shirt. Vickers also caught up high - too high to cover for Walker, when he got beat. On the play, I'd put it Walker, Vickers, then Vorm in terms of responsibility.

I agree completely.

There's nothing "wrong" with a keeper getting beat at his near post. Analysis of each goal needs to be taken individually, and while as a *general* rule keepers "shouldn't" be beaten at the near post, but in this situation it was a fantastic goal by Perisic.

That said, it seems like Vorm gets a lot more stick than he really deserves. I've got no issue with criticism when it's warranted, but sometimes he gets called out over things that happen to every keeper. It's like a lot of people are looking for any small mistake (perceived or real) to jump on when he plays.
