Considering the amount of penalties we get, we mustn't practice them much. We're basically giving Liverpool these 3 points.

I have no doubt that we do practice penalties.

The truth is, everyone of our players have more than enough ability to be able to take an unsaveable penalty everytime 100 times out of 100.

It's the mental aspect, the pressure in real time. You can't replicat the expectations of 36k people watching you and millions more on tv when practicing on the training ground and it is these pressures and this alone that make players with such ability prone to missing pens.

No doubt the fact that we have missed so many (of course the players are concious of this) adds pressure to a potential taker in our colours. Van der VAart is the man I would back (even he has miss of course)
