I was there when we were relegated in '77 and promoted in '78, I was at the 81/82 Cup Finals (and replays), I will be there on Sunday and cannot think of a more important home game for us. It might be my last at the Lane as it is and I just have a feeling it is going to be sensational. Win and we establish ourselves in the top echelons, lose and we may drop back down to the chasing pack. COYS

Probably more excited about this match than any other this season. A win will set us up nicely for the run-in.

Such a big game, but isn't every game at the moment. We really should be beating this United team.

Is the build up to every game going to be this nerve wracking?! How will we cope? I am worried about this one as Man utd seem to be generally getting results, despite not being that good, especially in the big matches. If we avoid defeat, I think we will have prevented them from coming past us, otherwise things could unravel quite quickly. But, then I worry about every game, although those against direct rivals are the most significant and , as things stand, they remain a threat to our minimum aim of a top 4 place.

*Tottenham

Anyway, this will probably be an easier game than West Ham, Leicester and Stoke...

I have sky high expectations. From the players' Instagrams this week, they had at least one day with a double session. Every single player is fit (Lamela, N'Jie, and Vertonghen have all returned). The team had a full 7 days to rest, train, and prepare for this week. If Poch and this squad are ever going to get a chance to show just how good they can be, it's this match.

I also think this match sets up well for us. United like to keep possession and what few chances they do create, they create on their own terms. Our press is going to frustrate the hell out of them.

Personally I would love to see us smash these conceited f..'s after so many years of heartbreak suffered at their hands. Old red nose's comment at 1/2 time, several years back when we were leading 3-0….." Come on lads it's only Tottenham" still pisses me off. It's time we gave them a good tonking.

1-0. 96 minute butt clenching, heart wrenching nightmare of a game. But a massive 3 points
