So pleased to see us take advantage of a good opportunity, and against a side we've dropped a lot of points to in recent years no less. Very pleased with the resolve to see out a very clean, thorough win.

MotM for me is Toby by a mile. Outstanding defensive display by him in the back. That lad is worth every single penny we paid for him last summer.

I think he's worth quite a bit more than what we paid for him (given the inflation in the modern game)... And that's what you call an absolute steal.

This seasons progress is absolutely outstanding and could set us up for many many seasons of seriously challenging for honours. Not since perhaps the 70s teams have we got a squad of young, enthusiastic, talented players with a bit of substance.

So far we have conceded the least goals....very un Spurs like and equal second for goals scored. The balence in the side is right. Credit the manager for this.

We must be the envy of many clubs in the league. Our youth set us is great, brilliant young squad, ambitious young manager. Long may it continue.

I like you optimism, but the 70's teams were probably the worst this club has experienced with the exception of a couple of teams through the 90's. The only quality that came through the ranks in 70's was Glenn Hoddle and Glenn Hoddle. We had some right shite, Barry Daines. Terry Naylor, John Pratt, Chris Jones and Keith Osgood are just a few that come to mind.. I remember when we were smashed 5-0 by Liam Brady in 1978.

Flashscores have goal videos as part of the match stats. Easiest way to catch up on the match and others, plus see goals.

Forza app on your phone, punts you goals as alerts as and when they hit the net

I'm so pleased Toby is getting more recognition for what he provides for the team. Outstanding, pure class and my favourite player as well as MoTM.

Deli Alli is a phenomenal prospect...he showed far more composure yesterday than in recent weeks. He's got the makings of the complete midfielder.

I wonder what Bentaleb was thinking when Tom Carroll was picked before him.

Great performance and we just need to keep Kane fit and sign another striker next month.

Can't believe Woolwich lost 4-0 to the Saints.

COYS!
We know that Poch brings players back in to the team/squad slowly after injury so there may be nothing in it. There is the chance though that Bentaleb had got too big for his boots and needs bringing down a peg or two. I still think he's going to be a beast though - once he came back from injury last season the difference in the team's performances was marked.

When he played against Monaco, he was lackadaisical and put us in some very vulnerable positions. On the other hand, he oozed class at other times.

Lackadaisical or off the pace after a lengthy layoff? I'm not disagreeing, just playing devil's advocate.

you people.....the team is playing great. We are leading. Top four. Kane is scoring. Team is in a very good place. Still, some of you keep complaining about (today) Eriksen. He is part of the 11 that are playing very good today.
Lets just start enjoying a good performance ey?

Couldnt agree more, the first 6 pages are pathetic, bus conductor slating Ali each time he plays the ball, even his assists he didnt mean to do them lol its laughable.. how long have we been waiting for a team that we can really get behind and support but ppl still want to slag players off, they need to really get a life. Everyone in the starting 11 today was part of a winning team that played close to perfect after the first 15 mins. Lets leave it to other teams supporters to hate our players because it means were doing something right!... Really does my head in.

John Pratt was a great player, considering his name lol

anyone got any ideas about maybe why Lamela was on the left and Eriksen on the right for the most part yesterday?

Still feeling bad for Bobby, was such a good guy. Yes, he flopped, but I never disliked him, and still think he would shine under Poch. I remember one little moment, when he was sitting on a bench when we scored, and he was celebrating like it was a world cup final winner. Other players on the bench did pretty much nothing.. Well, best luck for him!!!
