I am pleased with the win and performance today. It was extra special as my father passed away unexpectedly earlier this week. Which in turn has bought me back to London via Seattle. I watched the game with his picture next to me. More than the result he would have appreciated the way we played. He wasn't a spurs supporter per say, but followed them, as I fell in love with them as a 6 year old transplanted from new York in the early eighties. His name was Michael.

I've not read this thread through , but there is an ecstatic vibe around the
match .

It was absolutely great...BUT ..this was QPR on a warm afternoon at home. Not an icy Feb visit to Stoke/Liverpool etc . In spite of playing so well..we still stuttered at the start of the 2nd half .

Bale says 'maybe we relaxed a bit'...and this is the thing...are we going to
come out vs Fulham still in this euphoria ..a bit ..'relaxed' ?

Theres a long way to go to our 4th place and our team can't afford to relax pretty much ever .

Its Harry's job to stop this tendency..and I wish him luck .

Apparently Adebayor is going to be rested just had a text off my mate who's at WHL

Said "blokes just told be ades on the bench hope fucking not JD rafa up top? Azza and gazza on the wings"

Mate you really need to give it a rest. So many things that get posted on here, you have inside information because a "mate up the lane told you." I know you are related to Harry and Ginola and Gazza but not everything they tell you is true.

Interested to know what warnock was saying to harry at the end of the game. Warnock was all smiles saying something when they shook hands but harry just shook his hand & turned away & didn't respond to whatever warnock was saying, bit strange wonder if there was anything in it

Might have asked Redknapp if VDV was available on loan

So, last year, the (rightful) complaint was that we weren't winning this type of game, this year it is that we aren't convincing enough, or it is too early in the year and too warm, or summit :-|

'Arry is the sporty, popular, sixth former, predicted for straight A's, Warnock (aka Magwitch), is the spotty 13 year old younger brotha of one of 'Arry's acolytes, just grateful for a nod:

Warnock: "  your were soooo right about that Adel, 'Arry...he's a useless <CENSOR EVASION>:grin:"

'Arry: "Yup :-| :hello:"

I started getting really concerned when we played keep ball at the back. How many times have we seen that go wrong? I really would prefer them to carry on playing for more goals, that may be crucial at the end of the season.

That said it was an impressive performance in the first half and it would have been difficult to replicate that for all of the second. It's also nice to get 3 points in the type of game where we dropped too many points last season.
