Shite at creating chances as usual, but plenty of positives in that 45 minutes.

Lamela has played well. Not as well as he can do, but he's certainly starting to show his potential.

Capoue is back, and looks comfortable.

Our fans have been in good voice.

We play like we're against a world class team. Against teams like these, go 4-4-2 with some width. Drag them out of position, put some crosses in with 2 strikers looking to pounce. We're easy to defend against.

Andy Townsend still thinks it's the 80's when just running with the ball and whipping in crosses was the pinnacle of football.

We're keeping the ball ok and moving it around looking for openings against another bus parking team (athough from the commentary you'd think they were attacking more than us)
Would still like to see Eriksen starting from the left and Lamela in behind. Capoue is looking (understandably) rusty with his touch/passing. and Defoe has not got involved at all.

Wouldn't mind seeing Kane in the central role and give Defoe the rest of the night off.

Dembele and Lamela standouts of the first half. Would like to see Vlad on for Naughton and Jan to LB sooner rather than later. Naughton having no left foot at all is doing us no favours. He is too predictable.

Not too impressed with Eriksen so would like to see him come off either Lewis staying with same formation or Harry and change to a 442.

Of course if we score in the next 15, all that is irrelevant

We don't try to go round players enough. I think we need to risk losing possession more to try and get through them because what's happening is we are passing sideways until they tackle us and break.

Kane for Eriksen (who's not looked comfortable tonight) - Kane might be able to get on the end of a cross so improve strike force.

I'm torn whether to keep Eriksen on or not - been pretty useless but he needs game time and would like to think overall we will up the tempo in the second half.

For me, it's basically put on Kane for Siggy or Eriksen and go 44 farking 2!

before i go into a tirade which would potentially see me banned from SC. we're playing well. moving the ball quickly and actually attempting to create, playing through balls and we're putting in crosses. we have them penned back and we've come close to scoring a few times. people on here really need to get a grip "this isnt my spurs. this is boring" well fuck of course it isnt the spurs you know. they're playing 11 behind the ball and we're trying to pick the lock. and bloody hell we've come EXTREMELY close a few times. some of you really need to get your heads out of your asses and watch the fking game.
