Very rarely are Man united ever as bad as we were today or outplayed for large parts at home.

Awful tactics today don't understand what he was doing

we werent outplayed and had better posession. what the fuck is the team supposed to do when keane eats up a proper midfielders place?

so, fuck your assertion

:clap::clap::clap:

We could have easily lost 4-0. Keeping a clean sheet looked more likely to happen in the Reeperbahn.

Phew! Pulled the rabbit out of the hat there. Immense stuff from Gomes and Woody, but the midfield was a mess. Palacios' poor form continues. Is he ill?

But it goes to show what can happen to a team with Bent playing striker - get load of possession, lots of huff & puff, but no goals.

it's called perspective you pantyliner

for a team to go and play with some of our best players out , under the guidance of ''genius redknapp'' reshuffled defence again with king and woody who are legends but have no match practice and its touch n go,
midfield reshuffled too but did alot of work shielding the defence,

we played alright. yous all going in the black naughty book!

and i'll add, if jenius had been a little more inspired on the break, we could have won 4-0 so funk the lot of yehr:)

The decision to play Keane was a bizarre one. he tried it against United and it didn't work - and at least then he had Lennon to provide some width.

On the other hand, this is what I don't understand the contrast between this:
"That is the mark of Champions - to play badly and grind out results."
And this:
"Tottenham's pretentions to break into the Top 4 have been exposed today - they didn't deserve to win 2-0."

I also don't understand this: Tottenham's pretnetious to break into the Top4 have been exposed, and Tottenham's league position is...FOURTH:roll::roll::roll:

Only Modric and Lennon missing, and we're meant to have the 3rd best squad.

How is the defence "reshuffled"? That was the back 5 that was keeping clean sheet after clean sheet at home from January. It's the first choice defence.

Your summary is complete shite. I'd no more rely on you to tell me what happened in a game than Stevie Wonder.

Gomes was wonderful. Just sublime.

King still didn't look himself. Not terrible, but slow and plodding compared to what we've come to expect from such a ledge.
Woodie did alright. Good performance seeing as he's not long back.
Charlie's slow, we know that. Other than that, he did okay too.
BAE had a good game. 2nd on the pitch after Gomes IMO.

Midfield was just a big bag of meh. Unsuprising as we were pretending that Keane was a midfielder again.

Defoe was mediocre, but then he always is when the midfield aren't feeding him well.
Crouch did what he bought him for well imo. Knocked balls down, got up to defend corners and free kicks.

Mindless morons need to swear to male their point, so watch the language, please. And it was the system Harry chose today that was our undoing for the first hour, after he changed it, we at least matched Sunderland. He must start 4-4-2 next week, without 2 left feet Keane I hope, it's like playing with 10 men when he starts. See, I made my point without using foul language, incredible !

I usually don't react too much but I spent from 30 mins from 30' to 60' screaming at the tv "MAKE A CHANGE!"

I thought the defense was overall ok, and all three strikers were pretty average but the midfield three of palacios/huddlestone/jenas was just shocking. What was Harry thinking? We got battered for 45 mins and he leaves it unchanged? All three were very poor but I thought Jenas was the worst culprit, absolutely invisible except when he was bottling counterattacks. Like the rest of the team, they picked up somewhat after Kranjcar came on (and Hudd scored) but yikes. Good thing Cattermole and Cana were out.

Thanks Gomes!!

Either you didn't see the game, or you're utterly mental.

Why does it have to be 'or'?

My immediate thoughts:

Crackerjack cross from BAE. Itself an indication of how much we rely on width for our football. Really hope Harry gets the message.

Gomes is truly brilliant.

Harry needs to go back to the consistency of formation AND selection that served us so well last season. I could understand his teams for the past 2 games, just about, but the formations have been awful. A diamond against Sunderland's five was demented. Palacios did indeed look shite but on the left of a diamond, it's hard to judge him too harshly. Keane is a good link man (yes, really) and when he times his runs like he did for the goal all seems good. But the rest of his play is too risky and we almost always lose possession as soon as he gets the ball.

Krancjar looked wonderful when he came on, but I put that down as much to the fact that suddenly we had 33% more people in the midfield. How this wasn't picked up by Bond/Jordan/Sherwood/Ferdinand or either Redknapp is genuinely concerning.

I thought it was a penalty. I'd be very disappointed if Defoe did that and didn't get the kick. I also thought in real-time Gomes should have gone but feel the ref - as he did throughout the game - preferred common sense to the letter of the law (Henderson should have been off on 40mins, for example).

Finally, I don't see this as revenge for Stoke at all. Yes we were better than Stoke and should have won but the gap today for 60-65 minutes was far greater and they created way better and more chances than we managed against Pulis's side.

As others have said, I just hope we'll get Modders and Lennon back and Harry abandons this constant dicking around with the team. We're good enough to win football matches without it so why take the risk?

Try this: Spurs were bottom after 8 games last season with only 2 points, but still the bookies didn't think they were the favourites to be relegated.

You don't seem to have realised that the league isn't played over 12 games. On what I've seen, 6th would be the most likely outcome. Mind you, on what I saw today 1-4 would have been the most likely.

Okay, enough. Both of you can go back and change your posts or you'll get banned. We're usually lenient after a game as emotions are high but those posts are unnecessary. Sort it out.

I didn't see the game as I am at work, but it seems we didn't play well again, I assume it was better than at Arsenal, although Keane needs to start playing UP FRONT! With Defoe. Crouch is an impact player who offers another dimension. Saying that, I'm happy we won, and two out-of-form players got on the goal sheet. Looking forward to seeing Gomesh and that Hudd goal when I get in! Man City are ****s though, cost me in my accumulators :(

Banned for how long? I made a post based on my opinion, i don't expect a reply like his and nor do i expect someone else to be referred to as a "prick" by the same person.

I'll take a ban please then.

All I've heard from people since Berbatov left is "we need a big man upfront" and now we have a big man upfront, people still aren't happy.
