Sorry if it's already been discussed, but who was the guy at the Lane yesterday?

The one in the grey waistcoat is meant to be a footballer but nobody I've asked knows who exactly, haha.

I dont know which footballer but does look like a footballer simply because of the other two. I bet one of them is his agent - the guy in the suit. They all look a bit un fan like.

Why would they not be in the Directors box or in a box in general? Theyre sitting amongst fans etc. Strange.

Probably already posted but who ever does the spurs official twitter wasn't happy with the result at full time, he deleted it almost immediately but people still saw.

Agree with what you say about yesterday. Both games this season we've scored and our 1st thought has been a negative one and trying to protect what we have rather than taking the initiative.

Get the equaliser against Newcastle, AVB celebrates like we've won the league and we immediately sit back and try and play for a draw. We barely touched the ball again before giving them the pen. Then finally get the lead yesterday, off comes Defoe for Jenas and we're desperately trying to hang on to a 1 nil lead at home to the mighty west brom.

As you said the top teams wouldn't have handed the initiative/momentum to west brom, they would have tried to kill the game with a 2nd.
We dominated with our initial setup but failed to score so AVB changed it up Harry style (i.e. switched to 4-4-2) to make us 'more attacking'. This, imo, was a mistake as it was from there that West Brom started to get a foothold in the match. We then got our goal so AVB, presumably realising that it had opened up, attempted to revert to the original setup which had seen us controlling the game. For whatever reason (imo that the West Brom players had gained some confidence from us needlessly relinquishing control) it failed to work that way.

I think we would have conceded much sooner had we stuck with 4-4-2 - the game was like a lottery in the time that we were using it and I think we would have won if AVB had just switched personnel rather than tactics.

I was sat beside two of the most annoying fans ever on Saturday. They were providing a shit running commentary for the entire game, punctuated with whining and exasperated noises. I think the two of them were related somehow.

That is all.
