I'm worried our new coaches are English old-schoolers - Defoephiles, lovers of hard graft over technique, with a religious belief in 4-4-2 over poncey foreign formations.

They played a progressive 4-3-3 with the youth teams.

We are playimg 4-4-2 tonight. Doesnt mean they will every week. Thats what good coaches do...change the formation dependimg on the game. Unlike avb.

We look like a bench of 11 year olds playing football at school. There is lots of enthusiasm but there isn't any quality. Defoe has missed a great chance, stood offside and smashed a couple miles over and/or wide. Having Adebayor back in the side means we keep hitting long balls.
