Deary me - How dull have we become?
In a few words - we lack creativity - that's why even the very green, but promising, Tom Carroll seems appealing.
We don't do anything at pace.
Sandro & Hudd negate each other.
I've loved the Hudd too much for too long - where once I thought he had it all ahead of him, now I feel it's all behind him and his behind is all of him. So slow and lethargic.

Dawson Watch: Four great blocks and reads, No diagonals, Challenges Carroll in the air - but doesn't win them.
Dempsey Watch - is he on the pitch?
Walker Watch - defended well - but get him forward in the final third and frankly he's retarded.
Defoe Watch - Well he shoots he scores LOL - I was about to moan that he never looks up and our best chance was in the first 10 when he didn't see Bale coming on the overlap. A Hazard, an Oscar, a Silva, those players who are a league above ours - do see that final ball.

It's not been a good half, we're 1-0 up - That's great - I won't complain if we win this - but surely we can be better than this?
Shows how much we miss Modders and VdV - Dembele we desperately need you to be fit and in every game!

Long way to go - can only hopeand pray we get better and don't go defensive to give them an open invitation to score...it has been known under AVB.

Spot on. Hoping we can get our shit together when Dembele comes back. I have very little confidence in this team, and I'm starting to lose faith in AVB to be perfectly honest. Dire football, flimsy defensively and questionable man management.

That's been a bit of a helter-skelter game without great quality, but we have to be happy with keeping West Ham fairly restricted and creating a few chances ourselves. We've had some decent quick breaks leading to clean enough shots from Bale (cross-bar), Dempsey, and Defoe a couple of times. Defoe's set up for his own goal was class, the goalkeeping by Jussi for it was less than impressive. Defoe showed Lennon there how a right-sided forward in a 4-3-3 should play.

That goal should mean West Ham come forward a bit more, and we look at our best when we break out from defending and create a chance within 5-6 fast passes up field. We don't really have forward options to bring on to change the game, so we need West Ham to stay relatively tame and for our plan A to continue working to some extent.

Annoys me the lack of saves for there keeper and how Lennon isn't in the game at all and bale only when he takes it by the scruff of the neck .. Still amazing goal by Defoe happy with that and the defending

Our home fans have been atrocious, if you're not happy to watch then give me your ticket and I'll go and sing my heart out.
You could always try buying a ticket, or allowing the fans that do the choice to support the club as they see fit. Or do you believe you are better than the 35,000 or so that did get off their arse and spend their cash?

Very disjointed game but that's probably because I'm listening to it on Radio London
which is about a minute in front of the two dodgy streams I am switching between.
Walker seems to be doing well and Vertonghen back to his excellent self.
Usual suspects in fact doing well and the others not.
Are W.Ham as bad as they sound and look.
Is it very foggy at White Hart Lane?

If they don't score i wud say we have a great chance.

I think we have enough ability to keep going and score again. No doubt we will invite a spell of intense pressure though, we seem to have done it against almost every team this season.

There's a 20,000+ waiting list, yes?

And "supporting the club as they see fit" apparently means sitting in silence for the last 2 or 3 years.

In conclusion, yes, I think it's safe to say almost anyone would be a better fan than the lot at the Lane recently.

I think playing Friedel alongside Sandro would provide us with more energy than Huddlestone
