I'm taking my 72 year old mum to the game today, she was a season ticket holder with my dad for over 20 years before cancer struck so she's very excited.

A result for my mother please!

The thing is, a team with Kranjcar and Jenas instead of Luka & Lennon shouldn't need to look rubbish. They are good players by premiership standards. Someone let the situation slide.

I hope that the weather in North London is better than it is here in Kent. Driving rain and gale-force winds are a great leveller.

A win today will open up a gap with the teams vying for 5th. We need a win with a couple of tough looking away games coming up.

I'll go for 2-1, but not with a great deal of confidence.

Aslong as we don't play 3 upfront, then I'm not too fussed what side we put out. I'd take a 1-0 right now.

It's not. It's fucking horrible. Rain, strong winds, the full package.

I'm actually kind of glad I'm not going today. First (and probably last) time I'll ever say that. The weather's just so shit.

Anyway, COYS

Wigan have been really inconsistent this season and have hit bad form, we also have a good record against Wigan so I would hope we will get the 3 points today. wigan are not what they once where they can now be quite a soft side and I would expect us to dominate the midfield, regardless who we play. But it does depend on which wigan turns up

I've had to give up my ticket for today as I'm not well, and have now found out my satellite isn't working so not sure I'll see the game at all. Gutted.

think we can get the points today as long as we create the chances for the lads up front and the midfield can do a good job of protecting the back four (I'm presuming Harry will pick Keane, Defoe AND Crouch).

Well I'm on the train to Liverpool street, despite a flat tyre almost derailing my journey to the station. The rain's been pretty terrible in south London so it looks like it'll be a sloppy pitch today. If Lennons playing we could see a fair few yellow cards for tackles on him.
