If there are two clubs who just don’t like doing business with each other, it’s Tottenham and Chelsea.

The two London sides have a fierce rivalry, and transfer issues in the past has caused problems in relationships with the hierarchy at both clubs.

I would imagine the historical bad blood is much less of an issue given the new ownership at Chelsea. Also they will be looking to ship out a lot of players so maybe won't be too choosy when it comes to buyers!

The boot room now have us signing 20+ players 5-6 managers and multiple DOF's it's nothing but recycled clickbait and no better than the twitter aggregators that are banned, and yet these twats keep getting multiple threads let alone posts. It's not news it's click farming.

I realise this link is almost certainly bollocks, but I am intrigued about what happened to Mendy.

I must admit, I hadn’t been keeping a close eye on the Chelsea goalkeeper situation, however it seemed like the guy did really well when he first went to Chelsea, was getting all the plaudits, and then seemingly all of a sudden he was replaced by Kepa.

I can remember one particular game where he made a couple of really bad mistakes for goals (an air kick at the ball was one IIRC) but I don’t remember his general performances deteriorating any more than the rest of the Chelsea team?

Can anyone enlighten me…?

I think Potter decided he wanted Kepa to be his #1, Mendy has also had injuries to deal with though.

contract issues may play a part - as much as performances.

apparantly paid a shit load less than Kepa, and kicked up a stink about it… so they made sure his salary suited his place in the team, just not quite how he expected it to pan out..

5-6 managers should give us tactical flexibility

A 31 year old Edouard Mendy isn't one of them. He's quite unorthodox and has too many weaknesses in his game to be an answer for us.

We really need to be signing guys who solve our problems, not create new ones.

To be fair, with how we go through managers and break players, having all those might be a good idea for back ups!
