Tottenham Hotspur were actively trying to sell Davinson Sanchez ahead of yesterday’s deadline, with Football.London reporting that they failed to get him a move. It was a busy day at Hotspur Way yesterday as Tottenham finally managed to land Pedro Porro from Sporting Lisbon.

Tottenham trying and failing in the transfer market?

Noooo.

Can't be.

Because they didn't have an entire month to get the job done...

I’d have bought him, seems like a nice chap, should have loads of insight into Spurs, great pub chat for me.

I call bull on this, we play three at the back and on the last day we ‘decided’ to offload one of our more experienced cb’s.
Unless we had a replacement lined up ready to sign which I very much doubt….

We probably tried to line something up in the unlikely event we got someone in. Just another opportunity for the media to trot out the old 'they tried and they failed' stuff.

No media conspiracy about it. We are trash in the TM - always dilly dally and then try to rally.

Weren't Spanish and Italian clubs really interested in him, but he wanted to stay and fight for his place?
