The transfer window is just around the corner and, for once, there's as much debate about who Spurs should sell as who they should buy...

Go, ade Kaboul, Paulinho, vlad, Lennon Capoue, Robbie s, holt by and if a good offer comes in Townsend and lamela. We have Carroll, Pritchard, Milo's, all to come back that's a bloody big squad.

"For once"?! It's the same thing every season. We must have at least 50% of the squad to shift every year!!

...and only actually move on 5% of the buggers.

With the wages they are on it will be difficult to move the majority of players we have.

Most of them are under performing so it's unlikely the team that will be bidding will be able to afford their wages.

I perspnally would get rid of Vlad, Capoue, Kaboul, Ade and Paulinho.

Make room for Carroll, Pritchard, Alli, Milo and Winks.

Saying that, we desperately need to improve the 1st team and in particularly the defence.

One quality Center half is a must.

You can blood one or two youngster in through the season, any more would be a risk for a club hoping to challenge for a CL pace.

With this sort of re-build needed is a C.L. place even a possibility?
Maybe a steady (6-10th place), quiet re-building season should be the objective?

I totally agree with you and that is what I'd be going for but Tottenham as a club seem to want things yesterday and if so I don't think they can wait for the youngsters to develop.

I think we need two central defenders and two strikers, our defence is poor and Kane is the only striker we can count on.

I say buy one ie Benteke and then promote from within.

Regarding Centre halves I'd do the same, buy one and bring one of the youngsters through.

It doesn't leave much room for injures or lack of form. Who's the central defender to promote?

Depending on progression during the summer I think I would promote Milos V as I think he has the ability to play in the EPL.

I would think Wimmer, Vertonghen, Dier and Milos is usally ample enough.

We have a big squad but when you start to list players that you absolutely would not want to get rid of its a small list imo

Upfront with Kane and Benteke (if possible) I would have have someone like Oduwa or Harrison but with only playing one upfront it's unlikely we'll be needing him.

Or even have a bid for Callum Wilson from Bouremouth who's very promising striker and different to Kane and Benteke.

Would you sell Bobby?

I find it hard to diagree with anything in that article except "for once" in the first sentence. It isn't bitchy or malicious or dismissive and it underlines its sensible judgments by providing reasoning.

If pushed, I might disagree with verdict to sell Dembélé, but that's about all.
