Tottenham's preparations for the Premier League clash against Everton have been disrupted by a virus at the club.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp held his pre-match media duties at White Hart Lane instead of the usual venue of the training ground.

He said: "We've closed the training ground. Everything is off limits. We're just going to train there and that's it."

According to the BBC...

Mostly academy players and staff affected so far (20 or so)

Of the senior squad, only Charlie and Wilson have been affected, which is why Charlie missed the Bolton game and Wilson was subbed.

do you know how easy it is to get a virus from the internet? ......run man run!

Not good news at all. Lets just hope they have caught it before it has hit out first team much. Palacios and Corluka should be banned from the training ground as well until fit.

I am at Twickenham tomorrow and some of the English players have or have had stomach upsets and now some of our players have a virus! Perhaps I should dust my boots off and take them around with me all weekend incase either Johnno or Harry need me.

I've had it pretty much all week and spent the day in bed yesterday, feel better after a days rest though although can't say I'd fancy 90 minutes of competitive football!

It could be worse I suppose.......at least it's not in April when we play the top 3........
Even if it is only a 24hour thing, it tends to leave you feeling weak and lacking in energy, so I hope we have enough fit players for Sunday.

Pav must have caught it off Jenas. All the symptoms fit. JJ must have been incubating the virus for the last 2 years.
