I read today somewhere here that apparently City and Spurs are the only teams spending this window. We've already spend around 26 mills so far and we're still linked to some players.

As far as im happy bout Levy getting the players Harry thinks we need, do you think this will affect our stadium plans in any ways? Levy said prior to the window that there will be no major signing and that the budget is thight, so im asking if the money right now for these buys comes from the savings that were supposed for the first payments to build the stadium and thus now the stadium plans have been moven one or two years further.

Agree with everything here.

Every year we have money to spend. But we end up spending far less than we thought we would because we sell people like Carrick, Keane and Berbatov. Even with the state of the economy at the moment, we must have some money.

That said, I won't be surprised if we sell a couple of players as well.

It's the consistently sound financial management that allows us to do this. If Pav proves to be 75% of the player Berbatov was then I think we can probably say we had a stronger squad than we finished last season with and that's been by buying younger and cheaper and selling older and higher (though we now have half a dozen players in the squad who cost £8m or more and many more who are worth in excess)
