Let's hope Mancini encourages them to play like they did on opening day when we go to Eastlands for the return.

VDV will score 10.

Was traveling South America when I was younger and saw an hour long programme about him (this was when he was still at Boca Juniors), thought he was great and hoped that Spurs would buy him someday, still feel that way although I doubt we will.

There's too many combustable elements in their dressing room. Maybe it's the money these players are on that will drive the club into the ground. The likes of Tevez, De Jong, Adebayor and particularly Balotelli are sure to cause problems.

I hate Man City for the way they're trying to buy success. It's so funny how many people had a soft spot for City and felt bad for them when they were struggling. Now they have all that money all of a sudden they turn into a bunch of arrogant wankers.

I thought they played some promising football under Hughes at times. They were shaping up nicely at times with Robinho, Ireland and SWP all getting forward to support the lone striker. They still have exciting attacking players, but the typical Italian has locked the backdoor instead.

The way City are playing now will take a heavy demand on the players. They've started the season well, but can they keep it up? The reason I ask that is because if they keep having to work so hard to protect their own goal, there's always a risk they'll run into the ground (like Villa seem to do at the end of a season).

Of course there is a chance of success purely based on the amount of talented players they have. They're clearly going the way of Mourinho in his latter years at Chelsea. In fact there's some real similarities between the 2. Where Chelsea went from wide attacking players like Robben, Duff and SWP, to a more defensive approach.

It seems City are doing likewise, even though though they have good attacking options. I still don't see Tevez as a lone striker. I'm not surprised if he is unhappy with his situation. If they went for...

Adebayor
Silva--------Tevez--------Johnson
De Jong/Barry----Toure/Milner

I think they would be seriously good and entertaining. Hopefully Mancini doesn't go that way and they end up falling short. But one Italian has shown how it's done with Lampard, Malouda and Anelka in support of Drogba. Resulting in plenty of goals. But this is a manager who had the likes of Shevchenko, Seedorf and Kaka during his time at Milan. I just don't see Mancini as that type of manager.

Always enjoys your comments Million and not just because I tend to agree with them, probably because you have a great knack of explaining things in a simple eloquent way.
Personally I wouldn't be surprised to see Mancini lose the changing room, little by little, by his far too defensive tactics.
