I'm glad to see we took the action of bringing him back. It is pointless to have him loaned out to a Championship club who are not even going to play him.

I don't know enough about him to comment on his potential in regards to wheter he can ever make it with us (although it's something I doubt), regardless of this though having him in a loan situation like he has been at Norwich can be of no benefit to his development.

Same could be said of Pekhart at Southampton (I don't believe he is playing a great deal and certainly not uprooting trees there)

In hindsight Pekhart may have been better served dropping down divsion or 2 lower and playing a role for a team challanging for the title in their league (Brentford for example) instead of wasting a way at a higher level in a club struggling and unable to create chances for him frequently as and when he does actually get a run out.

Northampton in particular are short on strikers and had to bring in McGleish on loan from Wycombe. Someone like Pekhart could've been better served at a place like that. Or even Leeds with Beckford being injured at the moment as they look a little toothless without him.

I reckon TAH will have left the club permanently by January 2010.

He's got too many players ahead of him or younger than him to get a look in:

King, Woody, Corluka, Dawson, Dervitte, Mills

Even Hudd and Zokora can play CB so TAH hasn't a hope IMO

Well all of those are older, we know about King's problems, Corluka says he wants to play in midfield, Dawson will want away if he does not get regular football, Dervitte is struggling for form after injury and Mills hasn't been pulling up trees at Gillingham, so it is not that much of stretch.

But Troy has lost his patron, Ramos, so that could be a factor.

You would think Roeder would know a bit about centrebacks, so it makes you wonder.

He, and others, need to get regular football somewhere. Too many of our youngsters ahve gone out on loan, and for one reason or another havent played. Livermore got injured, same happend with Barnard and Dawkins. It might help them realise they need to work even harder to make it, but I'm glad we have called TAH back.

Surprised Daniels is back in the reserves, would have sent him out on loan again. One positive is that the reserves management have realised the student league, with only 16 games, is nowhere near enough so they are arranging loads of friendlies

Eddie, is Leigh Mills older than TAH?

What I hate seeing, is young players hanging on clubs when they're not getting any decent/regular football.

Hopefully TAH will get a lucky break soon, whether it is with us or elsewhere
