But no one has said that, have they?

Unless you're talking about hypothetical critics of Fury who are also hypothetically opposed to woman fighting, in which case, good point.

That is my point, yes.

Nothing! Was just wondering whether the Fury haters have a problem with the girls fighting. Since they had a problem with him being sexist
Honestly, I don't like women fighting.

But then I didn't like Fury much before he came out with all this shit either.

For me, I respect a man who respects others. Arrogance isn't a trait I deem worthy of respect, regardless of achievements. I respect someone who is humble and demonstrated respect in their lives.

Fury is champion, granted. But I don't like him with the persona he portrays or the ability he demonstrates in the ring, neither resonate with me at all.

Can't complain with Andy Murray - tennis is very popular with these sorts of events and he dragged that team gb to the final and for the win

Over 70 years since the nation last won it speaks volumes for the magnitude of the accomplishment

True we have enough Cycling and Boxing world champions to fill the empty seats at West Ham new stadium, about time tennis got a look in

Not gonna lie, I only watched it to see what Fury would say...

He actually came across quite well, clearly not liked by fellow professionals, which is dissappointing to see, because, outside of these idiotic comments he has made, his sporting achievement is right up there, better than many others... (greg rutherford for example).. I used his name, because he was one who wanted to pull out of the show because of Tyson being there...

Bit boring him winning it again although I understand the achievement. Think I would have liked to see Froome win it really if anyone.

Wow, who'd have thought a popularity contest on the BBC could create such debate.

The scary thing is that it's been a fantastic record breaking year for British sport with incredible achievements but you couldn't call any of them personalities and it all ends up getting sidelined by some homophobic loudmouth pikey who can punch people hard.

Murray - Single handedly carried GB to their first Davis Cup victory in over 79 years
Ennis-Hill - Became world champion only 13 months after giving birth to her first child
Whitlock - First male gymnast from GB to ever win Gold at the world championships
Froome - Won Tour De France while getting piss thown over him and contanstant harrasement from everybody yet maintained his calm composure and never reacted.

Personally I think Ennis-Hill should win it as she has done loads of great charity work outside her sport and the achievement of lifting Gold so close to having a child is simply incredible.

Hamilton & Fury should be nowhere near the top three...
and you missed Mo Farah.....has another athlete (short or long distance) ever done the triple double in World or Olympics?
