Kyle Walker and Danny Rose in the England squad. Their first game is against Spain on 12th June...

...and Tomas Pekhart in the Czech squad will be worth a watch as we all love signing a player back.

UEFA kicked off their promotion of the tournament with this

Nürnberg have signed him for the next season. Definatly watching him a little more next season, see how he does in the Bundesliga.

And always liked the U21 and U20 WC. Already some great players there.

Rose on song as Young Lions triumph.

A superb solo goal from Danny Rose helped England cruise to a 2-0 victory against Norway on Sunday in their final friendly before the European Under-21 Championships.

Really tough group for us with England and Spain, but we have good team this year, so hopefully they will qualify for the Olympic games

No Germany, Holland, Italy or France this year. Can you imagine the reaction from the media if England's U21 didn't qualify? We'd have to listen to them all summer about the lack of English youth coming through.

I've been impressed with Stuart Pearce's managament of the U-21's and his attention to detail. He's blooded a lot of players and we're starting to see a crop of decent young players coming through into the senior team - Milner, Young and Hart for example had long spells in the u-21's. I do believe that success in such tournaments bode well if the same crop of players feature together in World Cups and European Championships.

It's a shame that some of the players are missing. With Wilshere and Carroll we would have a decent shot, but I guess that is how it always goes with U21's.

Also a shame that Caulker is injured and misses out although he would have likely been on the bench with Phil Jones and Smalling ahead of him. Still would have capped an excellent season for him and I think he would have got a lot out of being in the England setup. He'll be back in the U21 side in no time though.
