Media are shocking. That first half yes pool had chances but for me Real were in control and looked comfortable.

So Konate clears it (as in the ball is going away from the goal) Fabinho plays it through with his knee and somehow that's not deemed a new phase of play or "deliberate"

Surely every mistake on the pitch should be overturned as they're not deliberate...

Farcical ruling and explanation.
If a player goes to ground while moving towards a player + the ball, their intent is either to play the ball or the man. If playing the ball wasn't deliberate, his intent must have been a foul. ?

Trying to explain to my missus why I'm supporting Spanish not English club. She asked if it's because I love modric (I do). Which I'm taking. As nothing to do with wanting them to feel the pain we had. That would be petty and bitter of me...
