No, we lost a little ground on Italy and Germany (both 1.0) to England 0.75, but France now right behind us with a gain of 1.166

Italy - 16.571
Germany - 15.5
England - 14.625
France - 14.416
Apart from Brighton all 4 clubs need to win and go through next week. That would be 12 pts. Would be nice if Brighton could get a point or two, Roma might rest a few as they are virtually through.
If we get the 12 pts we will be up with the Germans.
As it stands we need 7 pts more than them to catch them. They have Dortmund and Leverkusen to prob win and go through next week. That would be 6 pts. West Ham knock Freiburg out and it would be 1 pt between us. Average almost level.
we would have 5 teams still going and they would have 3.
Getting a bit tighter than I thought it would.
Man Utd and Newcastle really cost us.

Lots of concern for the coefficient points, that's what I love about Spurs fans, always thinking of others, in this case Aston Villa. Well done guys.

Let's focus on getting 4th and worry about the coefficients after game 38 if we were to finish 5th.

The ball was down low and his arms were up high........kicking the ball point blank upwards onto his outstretched arms isn't a pen imo. If he'd kept his arms down low the initial ball would have hit them. An unnatural position because he's trying to keep them out of the way. :cautious: :shifty:
So if he was stood on the goal line, not a penalty. His arms were up in the air, he wasn’t jumping. Just a joke . They say our refs are crap. The Benfica pen v Rangers was ridiculous. Defender heads the ball against his own arm which was level with his shoulder.

Too late to worry about it after game 38.
My point was I will look at it if we finish 5th. Until then, there are way too many factors to consider that can change between now and then. We can't get thinking 5th will be enough when it isn't guaranteed. If you want to worry about it fair enough, but we can only control what we do. And what we should be doing is doing everything we can to finish 4th so we don't have to rely on others doing us favours.

we need something to worry about. Makes watching the euro games more interesting . Otherwise they are just a bind. Wouldn’t even be watching.
If that's what you need fair enough, but I like football regardless so will watch whatever is on.

Another coefficient battle to watch is Scotland vs Czech Republic. It's a tight battle for the league champion getting an automatic group/league stage spot vs having to qualify through the playoff in the 25/26 season.

Oh when the co efficient goes marching in...

I'm forever blowing co efficients, pretty little co efficients in the air...

They split the Thursday games. Four in each competition now and four at the normal time.
