What a shambolic organisation. They make the FA look wonderful.

They organise a set of financial rules clubs try to adhere to or try for years to get ready to comply with and now they are changing it.

Good if we get new owners though I guess!

Unless we get a mega rich owner willing to invest then it's all going to become a bit tedious. We are at a glass ceiling now. This is hardly going to help.

They already relaxed the rules when they didn't punish Liverpool for massively overspending over the last three seasons.

Good, they're a load of bollocks anyway. Keeping clubs form spending what they don't have is a noble concept, but stopping wealthy owners from investing their money into their clubs is bullshit and was designed purely to protect a handful of uber clubs like ManU, Real, Barca, Bayern etc.

Was never do able anyway. Anyone could see Uefa could never enforce the rules. Its all arbitrary nonsense.

Not bournemouth, the new tv deal wont come in until after next season. Though Bournemouth are owned by a billionaire

Kinda annoying that they change the rules and we are one of the only bastard clubs who have been setting up to conform to them. Spursy

Meh. Doesnt really mean much, IMO. Clubs were still spending an absurd amount of money anyway.

But UEFA seems to be making shit up as they go along to appease bigger clubs. Shades of MLS, really.

FFP is stupid the way it is set up it only benefits the richest clubs. What is needed is a football wide salary cap.

But criticism of FFP has grown over the last two seasons as many observers have pointed out that stopping clubs from spending more than they earn cements the status quo - without the ability to speculate with their own money, ambitious owners of smaller clubs can never compete with more established clubs for the best players.

Last two years? It was the glaring problem with it right off the bat.

How about the fines and punishments they handed down, cancelled or can PSG/Man City appeal they should be compensated for something that is now not fit for purpose?

I do think it's a bit of a coincidence that UEFA have decided to relax the rules a couple of weeks after Real Madrid and Barcelona have their spending power reduced from the new television rights in Spain.

What exactly do people expect from Platini though?! This is a man that suggested Pogba can't be considered as world class until he scores as many as Ronaldo and Messi, despite him playing in Central Midfield.

He's a bullshit muncher & a moron, and it genuinely wouldn't surprise me if he's relaxing FFP to allow Madrid and Barca to keep on spending money regardless of their profitability.

Not really as they still will make shitloads of money regardless of FFP. Relaxing FFP is actually worse for Madrid and Barca since Atletico and Valencia are owned by billionaires

Let's just ignore the 300m that PSG get in 'sponsorship' from Qatar.

And how Platini was told to change his World Cup vote to Qatar just before they bought PSG.

Yep...
