I think it could be embarrassing for Redknapp if Pav looks a world beater at Fulham (compared to Crouch the panel beater)

can't see it happening.

I think it could be embarrassing for Martin Jol if Spase Dilevski goes on to be a star player for Real Madrid. Because there's as much chance of that happening as Pav looking like a world beater at Fulham. Or most anywhere else, actually.

Given that Redknapp isn't giving him a look in, a loan move might prove beneficial for everyone.

  1. It will give Pav games
  2. It may give him confidence
  3. If he bangs in the goals then it could wake Redknapp to his ability and also boost his resale value if we still don't want to keep him.
  4. If he flops then we are where we are now. No change and a move abroad, probably back to Russia can be brokered in the summer.
  5. Everybody on these boards can then cease debate on the issue as he would have determined his own future.

Absolutely. Nothing much to add.

Can't see why we'd help out a team that's also sniffing around for CL or Europa.

Why on loan? They must have the money as they were in for Crouch with cash.
