Ok I know its late, but ive got good reason to be awake at this time (ramadan) so ive been looking at some recent posts from ValY from 606 that no-one seems to have picked up on..

Since when has being in europe or not ever dictated our transfer activity?

Also if we are to retain 4th or even do better, let alone progress in the CL, we have to accept that there are a couple of players who dont possess what it takes to do that. Its not many granted, the odd striker or two, a defender(gallas), and possibly a midfield leader, thats it....nothing major....

just my personal opinion but i expect some significant movement transfer wise for us before the end of the week with maybe one more next week, although that might stretch to two...

levy trusts harry full stop so spending 14m on fab who should have two odd seasons in him would be justified and frankly we will have a great squad come next week...

Some interesting stuff there, distinguish between the ITK and his opinion at your will - thats what the ITK thread is for I guess. I find the bit I highlighted in bold the most interesting.
