From Marca today (with info)

Posted: Today at 8:56am Madrid want Cesc.....Wenger wants Higuain and cash (have heard that this is a goer in August)

Viera has signed for City (we did speak to him and so did United!)

Capel. Contract up in summer. Publicly saying wants to stay in Seville but as is not playing regularly is listening to offers. We have maintained interest...problem is as with Navas, local boy who (as he admits) would struggle out of Spain (Reyes was another).

Am working tomorrow with my contacts and one said have you heard about Van Nistelrooy.....

If Capel has homesickness as bad as Navas then he's never going to leave Seville, let alone Spain. I think RVN would be great for us.

cesc will be a barca player in June.

Rosell

Ferrer

Godall

all 3 will pledge his signing in their manifesto. Fabregas's father already said this to el mundo deportivo.

i cannot see a catalan playing for Madrid. If he was available in January Laporta would break the bank to sign him. It would look awful for Godall or Ferrer(Laportas candidates) if Madrid signed someone that Laporta has pledged to sign.

I'd love Van Nistelrooy.

Can't see cesc going to Barca until Xavi's no longer effective, and I don't think that will be for a couple of years yet.

Wenger will never get Higuain, the guy is easily a £25m forward and Wenger doesn't spend that kind of money.

Would still love Capel but I can't see it happening with the way our team has evolved and the players we have.

Both would be great. Capel would give us the option of a natural left winger. And he's still young, so he's another one for the future. And Nistelrooy is an out and out striker who will score goals.

Since it was posted as SC ITK, perhaps? Bit harsh there I think ever. I for one thinks Van the man's still got it, but where does that leave Keano? Still think Keano and Defoe where great together at the start of the season but seems once again they cant be in the same team and this time Keano's the odd man out...

Never afford his wages

It depends on the deal and if its an outright buy or loan. If its loan of course we could offer 70% or so to him with Real still paying the 30%. If its a purchase we could offer his wage demands but I cant remember what its called now but we work it we only pay a certain percentage and the rest in sponsorship.

Not any more - he had is chance in 2 windows and blew it! Happy with Nico, Modders, Rose or Bale at LW now

I would say that was more down to the fact the Sevilla did not want to deal with us because of the Ramos affair. BUt I do agree that we no longer need Capel.

But RVN, I would love. Just can't see it happening.

The boat with La Liga players has sailed away once Ramos was gone, imo.
Harry clearly prefers players with some EPL experience, so RVN link may have legs.
If Kanoute was not so comfortable and was not so highly valued at Sevilla, he could have been a good signing for a couple of years - he has a much better record on injuries front than RVN too.

How many players were signed under Ramos from La Liga- the not so successful Cesar and Dos Santos. He hardly brought a huge number of disciples.

How was Caesar not successful seeing that he joined us as number 2 i.e.back up gk. Juust because HR came in and does'nt rate him does not all of a sudden mean he's a poor player. Football is a matter of opinion. Redknapps differed from Ramos, simple......

GDS has been very unluck with us with injuries and timing. Once away playing for his national team he has looked a class apart. The fact that he's got Modric and Lennon (who's in the form of his life) infront of him playing in the positions he plays tells you a small part of why he's not got much game time when he has been fit. My one true gripe is that Bentley kept on getting chances ahead of GDS even though Bentley stunk the place out most of the time. GDS is only 20 years of age and has got plenty of time to succeed given the chance.

To be fair, he didn't say Cesar was a poor player. More that his move to Spurs wasn't particularly successful which I think is fair enough :)

Dougs he said I quote " the not so successful Cesar and Dos Santos". Now tell me how can a GK be successful when he is bought in clearly as number 2, he's not gonna get much if any playing time now is he. He was the back up GK to Gomes who's world class, something which I said right from the start and all along during his tough time.

The fact that he's gone on to play for Valencia 29 times speaks volumes to me. Cudicini hardly inspired me with confidence when he was between the sticks.
