Anything more than 10 million and we are wasting money and putting too much pressure on the guy to produce the goods.

He isn't horrible from the times I have seen him but he doesn't jump out at you like others, Turan, Jovetic, Cole and so forth do. Would have fit our level a year or two ago but don't really see it now. Especially if we had to activate the release clause for more than 20 million pounds.

I reckon any ITK on the striker front has a 50:50 chance of being laid down as smokescreen or being bandwagon, not to disparage the source for reporting his knowledge. I think Huntelaar is the most likely, lethal in the box as he was described by the coach at Bayern and that is what we need. If we get to keep Gudjonnsen and with Defoe and Crouch then I think he might be what we need.

Depending on whether Pav or Keane goes he still offers something new.
