Fully vouching for the info so far today, very solid, everyone at Spurs was very busy today.

Krancjar done, will be announced in the morning I guess, Pompey have been very helpful over this.

We are still working on the centre mid although we see Krancjar as being able to play there/Luka and him switching and so it is not a neccesity. All our top targets for the position are proving too expensive/difficult. Muntari will stay at Inter, Sandro is too complicated a deal to be done in such a short space of time, and thats with Levy negotiating it for a few weeks, Sissoko is far too expensive, and Real have realised that they will struggle to replace and improve on VDV in this window and so have offered him assurances although if they could do any deal then he would still be up for grabs, too late though it seems. Struggling to see much coming in from abroad now, too hard to do dealings.

Nothing grounbreaking really, but at the moment its just looking like one, Petrov still possible if the deals right, but not seen as a necessity. Chavez info is spot on also

Can't really think about another Central Midfielder who we could bring in. The other Diarra at Madrid maybe? That Anin boy from Le Havre?

Our net spend has to be zero this summer, we spent our winter AND summer budget in january, unless we suddenly have 45m to spend every window

Kevin Anin failed a medical at Sochaux today. Fee was 2.5m euros. No way we would pay that for Anin.

I know some people don't like him, but I'd think he'd be excellent for us

Sound on the ball, good defensively, experienced, Leadership qualities, and is an aggressive type of player.

He is just what we need IMO. Good shout

Regarding CM - how about Miles Addisson. Played well whenever i've seen him. Big imposing player. Can play CM or CB. Young and probably happy to wait for his chance to play. I think we should have gone for him instead of Bassong.

From what I have seen so far, I am very happy with Bassong - a bird in the hand and all that

Don't get me wrong, Bassong has been pretty good - i've got no complaints. But Miles Addison I think would be more versatile and covered more bases

I agree in not pating over the odds for the Palacio's cover, Harry knows he needs a player there and will get the right man when the right deal is available. Anyway, I am confident Thudd and JJ can provide.

Hope Kranjcar comes in, but for me is another nail in Bentley's coffin, 2 million is a snap for a player who is settled in the prem anh has worked with our manager.

In Harry we trust... COYS

Yeah but he could have also came here and bottled it like Bentley!!
I know what your saying m8 but we all have our "wants" but its more a case of what we need. I think Bassong has the potential to be the next Ledley with the right coaching. I for one am very happy with him, yes he will make mistakes they all do

Seconded. If Wilson gets injured our midfield will lose it's bite.

Gotta say I've been very pleased with Bassong so far, excellent buy. He's made me nervous a few times but overall I'm impressed with the way that he's fit into the team from the start. Hopefully he'll be with us for a long time to come.

Sounds like Bentley's on his way out though; I'd like to keep him, but having him on the bench is a luxury we don't really need right now. If we can use funds from his transfer to bring in players in more vital positions then I'm all for it.

COYS!

And his goal ratio aint too bad in the prem and for Croatia for a midfielder.

Think Miles Addison needs another season at Derby learning his trade. He looks a promising player though.
