I hope Keano stays as he brings so much to the club, regardless of his form and he can still be a top class player: form is tempoary - class is permenant

However, with all the stories, either people are putting 2+2 together and getting 5 or Keano maybe feels that he can no longer get into this Tottenham team - which i think is a real shame.

He's our captain, 100+ goals, modern day hero and a fantastic character

Yes, I would. I have wanted to leave places of work in the past, but I didn't mope around 100% of the time, excluding myself from banter with my colleagues. Why would you want to do that?

There is a difference between wanting to leave and leaving. If he was leaving don't you think he's have more important things to do, like finding a new place to live, clearing out his locker etc, than playing a prank on someone?

No, because that was filmed earlier in the week when nothing was happening. He's not going to clear out his locker until his last day is he?

Your location gives away your true feelings on this, and I sympathise. I loved Keano as much as the next man. "Keane 10" was the top table at my wedding, but time moves on, and Robbie is a pale imitation of his old self. If he doesn't go tomorrow, he will be gone in the summer, I think that much is clear.

By trying to pick holes in rumours you don't like the sound of, you are doing the message board equivalent of putting your fingers in your ears and shouting "la, la, la". IMVHO.

So because I'm Irish I chose to disbelieve the info? If you want to believe that the so be it. I wouldn't mind if he left tomorrow for 9m or whatever the price is that's being quoted around as long as we have a replacement (I don't think Gudjohnson will be good enough. I said that before rumours came out about him being Keane's replacement. That's for another thread though). I think he will leave in the summer and, again, as long as we get a good replacement I'll be happy.

I'm picking holes because there is holes to pick. Same way I have picked holes in some other info about other players linked with a move away, but because none of them are Irish nobody has picked me up on what I said.

My mistake.

I am behind Keano, the same way I'm behind all of our players. I tend to get more involved in Keane discussions because I think he gets a lot of harsh and unjust treatment on here. I've had that sig since he signed last window.

Anyway.... getting back to the original post. Turkish clubs have a limit of 3 foreign players... so unless they're going to release Gio, Harry Kewell (27 goals in 62 games and loved by the fans) or Lucas Neill who they just signed it's pretty unlikely Keane will go. Kewell is currently injured and will be for the next 2-3 months so i guess it's plausible but they'd have to pay kewell out.

Surely they can have 4 non-Turkish players in the squad? I think as long as they only list three of them in any matchday squad its all hunky-dory.

Galatasaray have Leo Franco, Kewell, Lucas Neil, Baros, Keita, Elano, JO and GDS!
