Both likely to go out on loan, Birmingham have put in a loan offer for Rose.

Birmingham would be a great move for Rose if he gets games.

If Naughton goes on loan then I doubt Hutton will be going too.

I hope both go to Premiership clubs (although Naughton probably will go back to S.U. and Rose to Leeds) as that will give them REAL expeience!

Tbh though I don't think either would get into any EPL side. They need to establish themselves in the Championship before they'll be able to make headway in this league.

Wouldn't mind swapping Naughton for that Gunter kid who is making big waves at Forest - apparently he can play RB and CB.

Naughton must be regretting the move now. He must have been given some assurances prior to signing by Harry that he would get some match practice and first team experience at least in the cups initially. Him and Pav - who also naively believed that the "20 goals this season" target was a sign of trust from the manager...

I tell you what, Rose on loan is a better move than Babel for 9m quid. Watching them on the weekend, when Larsson went off for Fahey, the commentator said that the latter had now appeared in the last 9 games or something as a sub. They'd have been a much more dangerous prospect if someone with the pace and directness of Rose had been the replacement, that's for sure.
