"Lots of activity at the lodge" could mean that they're having the carpets deep-cleaned in time for the press conferences next week, or that the air-con needs a service or something - there's no mention of who is undertaking all this activity

I'm exactly the same when these "something's happening at the lodge" posts appear. Anyway, it's Friday so evryone in my office operates at 60%. Since 8am, the boss has just been looking at what motorbike to buy next anyway...........

Nope, if you look on the site it says the 16th July and that this weekend the boys will play v Bournemouth in the training kit.

Transfer wise, I don't mind Richards, but again as a squad player. With Sandro, THudd, Wilson, Niko, Luka we have enough central midfield players (assuming we sell Jenas). We also have enough options on left and right with Bale, Lennon, Bentley, Taraabt, O'Hara (although the latter two could be sold). Having said that improving those two areas with quality is important for us to succeed in Champions League.

But also I am longing for the powerhouse no.9. The Shearer of Blackburn and Newcastle, The Van Nistelrooy of Manchester United. The Drogba of Chelsea. The Dzeko of Tottenham.
