I've heard a lot of whispers around the lodge about Victor Moses. Seems he used to be a yid as a kid and his agent is trying to work his dream move. Not sure how true this is though

Update:
Looks like Moses is on his way to the lane from what I'm hearing :)

It's been in the press, as has Palaces financial trouble so it wouldn't surprise me. I've heard he's more a winger than a striker but I'd guess he could offer some cover for Pavlyucheko too.

He should go to a club where he might have a chance at actually playing some football.

With 59 appearences and 10 goals for Palace you'd expect him to be a lot closer to our first team than someone like Bostock who had only made 4 appearances for Palace.

Not sure about this one myself - He is not exactly a young prodigy any more at age 20! Gio and Bale are younger! And if he is that good and still at Palace, one wonders why?

Maybe his career stats can shed a light on it - Hardly sets the world alight!

thats a pretty average stat for a striker, yet a pretty good one for a winger/striker  especially as a lot of those apperances will come from the bench especially when he was breaking into the team

Younger than Dawson and Reid were when we signed them from the Championship.

Quality player, and it's been mentioned a few times in the press, as said.

We've got quite a few youngsters rotting away, now. Good stuff.

Indeed Scutch. If we're going to get rid of Giovani, Taarabt, Dervitte, Pekhart etc, then we need some more players to rot in their places.

If we need to buy 10 Routledges to discover 1 Lennon, then so be it :)

Don't shoot the messager lads just thought I'd pass it on. However I don't think the Orange mobile phone guru would want to do a transfer what with the Bostock saga

think Jordans issue over the Bostock transfer is more to do with the family rather than Spurs

but he will take anyones money if they do decide to sell, Palace arent in a position to be picky

Nobody is shooting you buddy, thanks for the info. I think it's certainly plausible and if the financial concerns of Palace are ture, then Mr Orange knows our cash is good. He won't have too many better options than to take our spondoolips.

warnock said this mornign they've had a bid for moses which they turned down as it was way below thier value. he didn't say whcih club. He laso said he'd expect to lose 3 or 4 players in the wondow to keep the club going and they still haven't been paid Decembers salary.

I dunno if i were Moses someone like Newcastle would be a better bet. They're gonna go up and he gets the rest of this season to play with better service in the same divivsion to see how many he can score. If i were newcastle i'd pick a 21yr old Mosoes rather than a 26yr old Beckford.

I like Moses. IMO he is very similar to Gio. Left footed skillful winger/striker that has a reasonable eye for goal but will never be prolific. One thing in his favour though is that he has a good long throw. If we do get him the best that he could expect in the short term is to take over from Gio warming the bench.

with our track record of looking after and progressing young talent he should stay well clear

He's been heavily linked to West Brom and Di Mateo's come out and said he likes him as well. I'd guess the rejected bid was from West Brom and not us.
