Makes me laugh that just a few years ago this thread would have been:
'Gary Doherty...how best should we utilise him?'
Marcel Van Der Kraan has just been on Talksport saying Rafa loves it here, is very happy to have scored 4 goals in 3 NLD games, that its the 1st time Redknapp has asked him to play wide and that the UK press making a mountain out of a molehill as usual.
Rafa has however raised it with Redknapp that he can last 90 mins
He is a Dutch journalist who watched the Shamrock game with Rafa and his dad and spoke to Rafa for a few hours after the NLD Derby
HARRY REDKNAPP has threatened to axe Rafael van der Vaart in a blast back at his whingeing Dutch star.
Tottenham's boss is losing patience with the moody midfielder's constant complaining about being played out of position and being substituted during games.
Van der Vaart's latest moan came after he was asked to play on the wing for Spurs in Sunday's 2-1 win over Arsenal, in which he scored.
Redknapp snapped: "Yes, it does seem to be a problem. Rafa can't run back and chase the full-back. Against the better teams it is a problem.
"Rafa's best position is in the middle, playing just behind the front man.
"The only problem is that Jermain Defoe plays there too and Jermain is playing very, very well at the moment.
"So, I guess I have got a decision to make, haven't I? I suppose it's now between Rafa and Jermain over who plays in the team."

Superb. We have a manager that thinks choosing between Defoe and VDV is a dilemma.
Doesn't that make you all feel warm inside.
What makes me feel all warm inside is having had the best run of results over Arsenal since Nicholson was boss, and the only manager since Nicholson who's been in charge for over 100 games and won half of them (you may nitpick that 55 out of 112 is fractionally short of half if you please).
What makes me laugh quite immoderately is theorising armchair experts who seem seriously to believe they could do better.
To think, if you'd had your way, we'd still have that loser Jol in charge.
I can't believe our boss writes a column in The Sun.
It's hardly the best man management telling the whole world that you are gonna drop one player for another.
