Cracking news! Kaboul next.
I said a few months ago that Walker could be as good as Maldini. Future Spurs and England captain. His attitude and work ethic is just right.
Steady on.
...automatic: pow pow pow all over the joint! You've just given me a semi.
He's already on some BIG club's radars, England international and Young Player of the Year...that's pretty star-ish to me!
Fucking fantastic news whatever, we just need to get BC, sloth and the rest of the lads to coach him on the intricicies of the modern game. I hope he can stay awake during the seminar.
For all the moaning about rotation and an aging squad and loans and transfers, Walker has been an example of excellent management of a young player's career path.
Well in Kyle. I know I shouldn't get suckered and you never know what'll happen in the future but it's nice to hear the likes of VDV and Walker actually being happy about playing for this club. As a confirmation that it's moving in the right direction if nothing else.
To my biased, desperately-seeking-Susan eyes, you can see it in the way they play, imo.
That last bit is no doubt bollox so ignore it.
Anyways, I'm beginning to ramble on so I'l stop.
His passion is fantastic.Walker might be one of the few things we agree on Paolo, and I think BC's dead wrong about, but now you've driven that wedge between us even on this!!!
This post reminded me of a moment from last night's game, Walker had just let Petrov steal a march on him and he'd got in on goal, and took a shot which Friedel saved, anyway they showed a long-shot replay of it, and as the ball was finally cleared you could see Walker kicking, and looking like he was going to head-butt the goalpost in pure frustration with himself. It was brilliant. Did anyone else see it?

Exactly what I meant. It matters to some of them. Whether that's just on a personal level or otherwise, it's nice to see instead of a shrug of the shoulders or a goofy grin. Those sort of players have that "edge" needed to really push on I think.Walker might be one of the few things we agree on Paolo, and I think BC's dead wrong about, but now you've driven that wedge between us even on this!!!
