Yep, the hurt from Saints game will probably last for months for me
Feel like it's killed off 4th and only a trophy will cure my blues
Know what you mean but I believe this game will be a yard stick for the rest of the season. If the players show the hurt we feel and play to thier ability, that means starting at kick off and not giving the ball away so easily, then the blues will be blown away and top 4 being a realistic option.
Lets hope for a better year for one and all and free flowing football.
Stay safe and happy new year to all Bob

We drew a game mate, get a hold of yourself.
Yeah weird comment when 4th is still in our own hands. I'd get it if the team in 4th place was now 10 points above us with a game in hand...

Still not over the fact we couldn't take the 3 points against Southampton. Failing to win this one would only worsen that feeling
I know what you mean, but this time it was not the usual cliche "we were robbed", because we were robbed! It is very hard to score in this league, and we scored 3 legitimate goals but the officials in their incompetence disallowed 2. Because it was nothing we did wrong, I actually feel more confident and proud, as oppose to feeling down, despite only getting a point.

Yep am worried like you about our away form. As I said before play our counter game with our best XI
But if once again the home team gets on top early and we fail to win, maybe time for a mid trio to take more control and bench one of the Three Musketeers

Yeah I agree. Need to have more of a level of control I think. It just feels like everything works a little bit less. We don't get the space on the break that we usually get, the fullbacks don't seem to have much joy going forward, the midfielders have even less of a grip on the game etc.

It is difficult though. I wouldn't be displeased to see Winks with Skipp and Hojbjerg, but then I think we miss something important without Lucas.

Am not as nervous for this game though as after the Saints performance (which wasn't all bad, but I still think highlighted our difficulties away from home) my expectations have lowered. A few are predicting a comfortable win but I really wouldn't be surprised to see a gritty game.

Yep, I'm expecting a tough game, a win but not a easy one
I'm a big fan of Lucas and want him starting tomorrow, but if we fail, I think three mids needs to be tried

So hang on, Watford have more out than Palace did and there's nothing regarding a postponement?

After getting up 5 times last weekend to see if our Palace game is still on, lets not do it again this weekend.
Happy New Year.

Should win, must win, will win. May not be as easy as we all believe but win we shall. Not won at VL for a while so that needs to change.

Yeah, I think we could have done with him in that first half against Saints when there was space to play into. I think it will be tough tomorrow too. Very interested to see the lineup, but would be surprised if it wasn't Son, Kane and Lucas! I agree though in that if it's the same old then I'd want to see three in midfield.

I do think we need a game where we absolutely stuff and thump a team - Watford are that team. We need to win by five or six in a game i feel just to really drive home the progress made and to improve our GD.
