Going to enjoy the win while watching Utd/Chelsea but it's scary how bad we are at breaking down a team that parks the bus. I would like to see a Scott Parker/Gallas type leader brought in during the transfer window.
They would have to be very good to get in the team right now.

Not the best performance today, we rarely troubled Gomes in the second half which was worrying and struggled to pick the lock with their ten men. A magnificent 3 points none the less and Lloris and Dier really saved our bacon. Hopefully Dembele is back soon!!

  • Hugo saves a goal that was the most goaly non goal thats ever been not goaled.
  • Son manages to score a backheeled, volley, nutmeg despite being offside twice.
  • Watford sign a forward who appears to be a member of the Nigerian Avengers and it takes a desperate challenge from Dier to save a 92nd minute equalizer for the 10 men side.
Football is mad.
This wins post of the day competition.

Didn't see Son's goal - did Alli assist it? Kane got a touch on the ball before Lamela tucked it away for the first goal. For fantasy league I hope Alli touched it before Son scored...

I've had a few glasses of wineo today, but i'm sitting in the front room - trying to predict the future, as you do - whilst watching Soccer Special on Sky, and at 60 minutes I call out... and now we go to Vicarage road to a sending off for Watford: 3 minutes later it happens. Then, Watford nearly score at the end and I call out.. and Spurs have gone up the other end and scored: 1 minute later it happens.

I'm taking full credit for the win today. GET IN.
It was Trippier

In the past this was us getting fucked by the ref, 100% guarentee. What a save from Lloris.

Hugo just doesn't get the recognition he deserves from fans, it's like it's a complete given that he will be superb. The guy is top 5 in the world, we're incredibly lucky, he deserves CL football.

A bit reminiscent of Fergie's United. To walk into the stadium of the team with the best form in the league and play 90 minutes where, even though it were far from our best football, all 11 on the pitch clearly believed that we could and would win, is brilliant and so far from what we have seen in the past. Good teams win when they play well, but great teams play like shite and find a way to rescue a win out of pure belief.

BritExit's tackle on Trippier should have been a straight red.
And Axe should be banned for a year for that tackle on Lamela - X rated stuff.
So justice was served today and I hope that team of thugs somehow manage to relegate themselves

today showed us why ben davies is the better left back

I don't think that's at all fair. Davies has had bad games himself, he's only just started finding a level of consistency. Rose has been superb this year, some fans are just so fickle it's unbelievable.
