Just seen the "Disputed" tackle for the red card on MOTD.... how can they defend such a blatant assault?

Witsel and Berahino, perhaps, but I am not sure whether Berahino will be fit enough for our system and certainly not to be bought at the previous asking price. Peace has egg all over his face.

Charlie Austin is average, sorry, I don't want overpaid journeymen in this team.

... So which player with goals and prem experience do you think would be happy to sit behind Harry Kane ? ..I could say many other names... but realistically who is gettable in Jan at a reasonable price and prepared to sit on the bench? .. The alternative is SB. Who I would prefer at the right price and if he leaves the issues behind or worse nobody. ...which is foolhardy. ..who can you suggest?

Largely agree, and yet we smashed City and could / should have beaten the Arse at Emirates and there's every chance well do them at WHL.

Who knows, with the right additions in Jan we really could be looking at a title tilt.
Sure I agree. I don't think anyone has outplayed us this season. We should just have killed more games off. However there is a discernible improvement in performance since the beginning of the season ... and even then we looked better than last season.

Combination of both. They did play well, very organised, strikers always a danger etc. But we also lack any kind of invention, and there were quite a lot of mis-placed passes under not a lot of pressure etc.
Not so sure about the lack of invention. Playing a different system, two very creative goals and some really good crossing from Trippier. Playing a different way shows inventiveness, even if it all does not come off.

Also I note the comment from Poch on the pitch. Perhaps this is one of the keys to the success of Watford this season - a pitch that puts passing teams at a disadvantage so helping a 'direct' approach style?

Ian Wright said that Berahino was a dutiful son and that the issues are with the club. Perhaps, he won't have those issues with Spurs. The problem remains Jeremy Peace and his asking price. I can see this going down to the wire. They may well lower their asking price if we throw in another player.

..what worries me is allowing it to go down to the wire again. We need an alternative lined up as Peace is unlikely to make it easy.

It's not just goal scoring. They need to fit the system first and foremost.

Not to mention the fact that Austin is reportedly crocked health wise.

A nice view of Son's goal and the celebrations. One thing I do notice about this team is the team spirit. They really all do seem to want to play for us and enjoy the win almost as much as the fans. The celebrations at the end also shows how much it means to them.

I'd rather Leicester win, because it keeps the pressure on the Goons and would mean what City will be fourth.
I had a similar conversation with my dad... My outcome was the same but my motives different - We ate over complicating this. We are third. It is great. If city lose we stay there. Lets just enjoy this:D

Poch out! He put my health at risk. My heart rate is irregular on match days. I prefer to sleep through the match when we were under avb.

COYS!
