Absolute must win, given Watford's injury list. We've been gifted a bit of good luck playing Watford when they have 14 fit first teamers, so we need to make use of it.

A scroll through the Watford forums shows they are all expecting not just a loss, but a stuffing. That should fill me with confidence, but it sometimes does the opposite! As long as our players aren't as confident about our chances as the Watford fans...

Bloody hell, the Sky Sports News panel seemingly quite reluctance to praise our midweek win over saints. They praised Alli as potential and spent the rest of the time talking about how it wasn't a penalty and how we're looking weak defending set pieces. You never would have thought we thrashed a good team who hadn't conceded 4 at St.Mary's since coming up into the Premier League.

Also, all the attention Kane's penalty miss has gotten has really baffled me. There's a simple explanation to it and the replays show it clearly. Kane seems to be getting all the slack for the bloody pitch giving way right before he kicks the ball.

Just finished reading the Southampton Match Thread and would like to point out some errors regarding the accumulation of yellow cards.
Most posters were stating that yellow cards were "wiped out" after 31 December.
I dont think this is the case. The change is that, after today, a player has to accumulate 10 yellow cards before he is banned.
As an example, I think that Rose has 7 bookings which carry forward into the new year.
Sorry to hijack the thread but thought that if I now put it into the Southampton Match Thread it wouldn't be read.

A must win game this one. Can't afford to be dropping points with ManU winning. Also need to put pressure on the Gooners and Citeh if they lose this game to the Dippers.

I wonder if the ground was as bad on the right side of the spot as Tadic is left footed??

No real surprise there to be honest, there's two people on that panel who definitely hate us and I wouldn't be too surprised if the other two do also.

Kane better score a few this week, starting with tomorrow. Used triple captain this week on him.
