Ways to watch games

So, the only reason I have cable TV here in the US is to watch Spurs. I can see every game and pretty much every game in HD this year too. Unfortunately, to get the necessary channel, I need the 'everything' package and am bleeding over $100 a month.

Am wondering if anyone has any suggestions of how else to watch the games. tricky thing is that I am on the west coast , so it is not convenient to watch them live on line. Does anyone watch via a torrent or something? If you do , please pm me details!!!

$100 a month is a bargain versus getting up at 4am to watch a stream online, but if there was a downloadable alternative that would be great..

I pay about 50 dollars a month to watch Spurs home and away in Thailand. It is the full package and I rarely watch anything else.
It seems expensive but when you think that a trip to the Lane is going to set you back the same, if not more, then it's a ****** bargain!
I'd pay the 100 dollars as you get it in HD! Another ****** bargain to watch the Spurs!

there are many many websites out there that stream prem football, but as they are illegal, they aren't allowed to be discussed here except perhaps through private messages. Google is your friend.

You could always use the internet for streaming.

However, it is an illegal practice of which I do not encourage. Nobody here does it so there's pretty much nobody here to PM.

What are you talking about not being convenient to get up at 4am to watch Spurs?

I live in Aus and most of our games are on at 4am or 11:30 pm.

What else are you doing at 4am?

Are Spurs not worth getting up for at 4am?

Gimme a break.

I feel for those Yids on the ST waiting list, who live close to the ground, but at 3pm on a Saturday have no option other than a dodgy stream to watch Spurs. Been there, done that.

Mate you have it lucky. $100 per month for every game in HD and nobody bothering you at game time to do something else.

Be thankful. I am. In fact, being able to watch every Spurs game live in HD is one of the highlights of my otherwise dull life.

end of rant...

I hope this is a joke.

See, some people have jobs and have to sleep in order to function well when they go to work. Shocking and disgraceful, but unfortunately true.

Google for "my", the abbreviation of "peer to peer" and the initials of the European Union and you might find somewhere you can watch games :D

Sorry big shot.
I'm a finance manager at a company turning over $90m. 7 direct reports across 4 departments. 70 hour weeks are the norm.

Watching spurs is my greatest release. For 90 mins in the morning, I have something fun to focus on.

To me spurs are more important than work.

I really couldn't give a fuck about how special you are. You're not the only professional on here.

Well congratulations to you that football is more important to you than putting bread on the table.

As much as I love Spurs, work must come first....and top functionality brings out the best in work.

See, some of us are grown up. We have out priorities in order.

Nice one Jules, you've got people arguing about who works the hardest now

As for watching the game, but not live online, doesn't JamestheYiddo usually chuck up a torrent on this very forum shortly after each game?

A chap called James Cole (think that's his name) usually posts some links for places you can download the games pretty quickly after full time (same evening at least).

An option?

Snap! Apologies for repeating what you said. I'd clicked reply to this thread but had to go and do something else... and then came back to reply... and you'd posted the same in the mean time!

Great minds anyway!

Great thanks guys.. Would prefer not to have to come to this site to download, as I would prob accidentally see the score!

To the Aussie, give it a rest man, I am just trying to find a cheaper way of doing what I've been dong the past 9 years I've been out here. I was not asking for your approval on how I schedule my free time, nor do I need your advice albeit shrouded in off-the-shelf 'call yourself a true fan ra ra' nonsense. I am a Dr and have ever changing work schedules that don't afford me the luxury of being able to 'vent' at 4am.
