..... Just on tonight's game.

We we're poor, we we're shit, we we're shocking. Palacios couldnt pass three yards. Pav scored but looked like he couldn't control a fart. Dawson looked slower than than the day itself.

But it was just one game. Fulham 3-0 Man Utd. Embarassing. But you didn't see Man U fans panicking. At least we had a few reasons, excuses if you will. Sometimes excuses are needed to keep confidence. The plastic pitch makes a huuuge difference. And they fucking watered it too! Surely thats cheating?! Why water an artificial pitch?

We have an inexperienced squad. They're young. Everyone goes on about Arsenal's "kids". Bollocks they're all old. We're the ones with the kids! They're all young! Young Boys came out all guns blazing, we we're slow out the blocks. They took heart when they hit the post in the first minute. Then Gio missed a sitter at 1-0, another turning point.

What i'm trying to say is, I know it was a terrible performance. I was effin and blindin' so to speak, about everything. I even blamed Joe Jordan at one stage! Harry's sanity was brought into question on numerous occasions!

But we have to keep positive. We've built an aura about us in the past few months. We look like a pukka team. We shouldn't throw it away on one performance. Imagine, we we're the worst we could be, and we still are in a fantastic position to go through.

Please keep positive guys!! COYS!!

Allow me to compare it to a Boxing match. We took a few early punches yet made it to the first bell still in with a decent shout. Time for round two, let's come out fighting. Come on you Spurs!

Who is panicking? Only kids panic.

We were playing away, on a plastic pitch in front of fervent fans in the biggest game in their clubs history.

They came at us, passed the ball quickly on a pitch they know and got some great fluency in their game.

We couldn't stand up. If you watch the first half all of our players were falling all over the place.

They heavily watered the pitch before the game and it was slippery if you are not used to it.

To play like we did and push them for the 2 goals showed heart and fight. We could have capitulated.

We were always likely to get hit on the break and thats what happened.

Now understand football guys and understand what happened out there.

We can now play our game at the lane as they will sit 10 men behind the ball and we just have to be patient and play the way we know we can.

Burnley, Portsmouth, Young Boys. It will always happen, but it doesn't happen too often. We'll no doubt win games we wouldn't expect too aswell. Don't you just love Spurs? Whether we play well or poorly, it's rarely a boring game when Spurs are involved. That's why I love Spurs.

Two-legged ties really help the favored team, it's pretty rare that a much weaker team can play up (and the superior team can play down) over two legs. Like the Burnley carling cup semi, we killed them in one leg but they caused us a real scare in the other. They were able to knock out Arsenal? and Chelsea in that run because they only had to play one game against them. If the FA cup semi-final against Portsmouth was over 2 legs, I'm fairly confident we would have gone through and that was with a 2-0 lead and them being a better team than Young Boys!

My only fear is that if we don't get a fairly early goal we could start to panic...it's not like many of our players have very good composure in front of goal to begin with!

We are not match fit yet simple as that. (even Bale looked off the pace)

These early stage Euro qualifiers always favour the teams whose league starts early (ask Celtic) some of the players playing tonight have hardly had any game time pre-season (and it showed)

it was not shown up against Citeh as they are in the same position.

It is also compounded by the WC.

Tonight's game and Saturdays should hopefully get some more sharpness in the players' legs.

Also, the arse of those Young boys looked like it could go at any time. at a buzzing lane revved up by the CL music at the start, we will be flying

The first goal was so lucky.. .shit happens. It rocked us, and they capitalised on our weakness. Its called variance. You think YBs were bagging goals left right and center in the Swiss league this season.. no. They got a few chances today and took them very well.

I strongly believe they wont be as potent away from home as they were today. They just ran above EV for a little bit. But, we must defend better if we are to have a chance to qualify.
