Well, upon further reflection, and watching todays match... I would bring in Sam Allardyce Monday morning... we need discipline... guts, fight, and we have not got it at the club and the manager is a complete failaure, a disaster....

Someone needs to kick these overpaid primadonnas up the arse. I have never seen so many quality internationals playing so badly and without heart.

Phew, that's a bold one.

Are you by any chance clinically insane? No? Ah, well. Hope you don't mind me asking. Possibly something worth keeping an eye on.

Levy would never condone hiring a manager who conducts illegal activities and that, I sincerely hope, would be the end of the matter.

For newcomers to the thread, the specualtion was that Sam Allardyce may be a reasonable replacement for Juande Ramos.

However, I've got a lot of time for people that admit their mind has changed. And apologise for speculating about your mental state.

I'll leave this open in case anyone fancies Big Sam's possible contribution to THFC.

Don't see why not, if things don't change soon then Allardyce maybe the best we can get if we are bottom when we come calling, him or Souness i'm affraid.

If we lose to Stoke tomorrow I feel something will have to change.

While Allardyce, wouldn't conform to our playing attacking football style, but he'd be a good manager though. Look what he did with Bolton, on limited budget. If Ashley would've stuck with him, Newcastle would be much better position than they are now.

He's a very good manager, we just won't get the good football with him.

Maybe the same can be applied to Ramos, except he is famed for a more attacking game.

I know. That's why i don't think Allardyce would be a good fit here, he's a good manager, but he plays boring football. But if Ramos was to go, i wouldn't be upset to see him here. He'll kick the underachievers up the arse.

But i still think Ramos, will come good.

We don't have the right players to play the Allardyce way that is for sure. However if he could instil in the team some siege mentality to get us up the league I wouldn't be too upset if he did come in, assuming Ramos can't do that anyway of course.

I think the players have finally come to realise they have to start performing though so I am expecting us to start the turnaround against Stoke tomorrow.

Well Allardyce wouldn't be my ideal choice if Ramos went but I also wouldn't be that upset to see him here. He wouldn't put up with players who aren't motivated for a start. I think he'd be able to win more than 10 out of 31 games and we wouldn't have to pay him 5 million a year.

I suppose the question is: Are we happier playing pretty football and, possibly - but very unlikely - playing in the Championship or should we play awful football with good character among the players, yet find the club morally bankrupt and at the centre of numerous criminal activities. Oh, but maybe manage mid-table?

I'm sorry, it's too repugnant to consider.

The only thing worse would be to bring in Terry Venables to be DoF above him.

I'd have Allardyce if Ramos quit or was sacked. He knows the Premier League and thats a big factor when taking over a team out of the top 4.

Allardyce? WTF? Is someone going to suggest Graham Souness next? Neither are good enough to manage a Premiership team, let alone Spurs.

Didn't he finish 6th and 8th in the Premiership with Bolton in his last 2 seasons? Thats not bad going.

Please God NO.It was bad enough having to sit through George Graham.

.....and anyway who would take all our long throws.

......seriously though, i'd give up my season ticket. I remember watching Bolton playing at WHL and If that's how your supposed to play football then i'll slit my wrists.

Its not like Spurs have been entertaining us with great football over the last 10 years though is it? We've been one of the least creative teams in recent years. Most of our goals from the last two years have come purely from Berbatov and Keane scoring and creating between themselves whilst our midfield were non existant.

Well... the under acheivers have done it again... what do we all think now!!! I would bring in a no nonsense manager for Monday, this manager does not know what he is doing anymore, I am so sorry to say. I thought he was the right appointment... now I dream he will resign in the morning. We are cursed as a football team, its my only answer to a team of quality internationals, all playing like morons.

Is this thread purely about the possibility of replacing Ramos?

If so; I hope we go down.

So at least all the so called speculators can desert the sinking ship, and common sense can start to prevail.
