This is a screenshot I have just taken no green left now so looking good. Not sure how many they will shift between now and then perhaps a lot of freebies to local school kids is going to pad it out and maybe bring a few future fans into the fold would be my guess.

Theres literally about only 10 tickets in the entire 2 inner rings left as well. Looks like we'll get at least very close to selling out.

There's loads of green left in the middle. Get some stackable chairs put out - no worries.

I logged on yesterday just to see what kind of tickets were left and was majorly pissed off that I could get 'better' tickets on general sale than I got on member sales (after being in queue on august 5th for 13 hours!!!!)

How is that even possible? the swines... also I paid £70 for my ticket in Block 532... yesterday in same block it was £20? what gives?

I think Wembleys top tier is split in categories, the top half of the upper tier is category 5 and wasn't available for the packages and the bottom half is category 4. I'm assuming your ticket is cat 4 but the £20 are cat 5

Also if anyones interested in ticket sales, over on our stadium thread on SkyScraperCity someone counted every seat available as of 1.30pm yesterday.

Ok boys and girls.... I have gone in and counted all the available seats for you... every single damn green little dot! Now, it took a while but I took screenshots of each block and counted them offline so as not to get in the way of purchasers. As at 13:30 UK time, (notably before I got the club email about the tickets going on general sale), the following number of seats were left available:

Lower tier (capacity 34,303): 1,051 seats left
Middle tier (16,532): 1,110
Upper tier (39,165): 8,393

Total of 10554 seats left as at 13:30

90,000 seats - 10,554 = 79,446.

My ticket is in the top tier and was £35 - so that sounds right - don't know if it's how close to the front, or how close to the halfway line?

Yeah this is the case. Half way through the top tier the banding changes.

Just looked at the online map and I reckon there's 1-2k left.. Corner to end sections only, last 8 rows max and a lot fewer in some. I reckon total sell out is on the cards as long as they are not holding any back.

Will the club make something even bigger than it already is and have cards on the seats to show a giant Cockeral or COYS behind the goal? Flags on the seats? Really could make it massive. If the fans get behind the team then this could be a fortress. Up to us now.

Been getting intrigued by this. All data via wikipedia. So the target is 84,467..beat that against Monaco and we will have the highest ever home attendance for an English club. Which would be nice! At the moment this looks very possible.

Note: as "home" games for United at Maine Road, and arse at Wembley are allowed, I see no problem with counting our Monaco game as home

Rank/club/attendance/venue/opponent/competition/date

1 Manchester City 84,467 Maine Road Stoke City FA Cup sixth round 3 March 1934

2 Manchester United 83,260 Maine Road Arsenal First Division 17 January 1948

3 Chelsea 82,905 Stamford Bridge Arsenal First Division 12 October 1935

4 Everton 78,299 Goodison Park Liverpool First Division 18 September 1948

5 Aston Villa 76,588 Villa Park Derby County FA Cup sixth round, first leg 2 March 1946

6 Sunderland 75,118 Roker Park Derby County FA Cup sixth round replay 8 March 1933

7 Tottenham Hotspur 75,038 White Hart Lane Sunderland FA Cup sixth round 5 March 1938

8 Charlton Athletic 75,031 The Valley Aston Villa FA Cup fifth round 12 February 1938

Love the fact that United's biggest home attendance is at Maine Road :)
