I'm just glad I saw cl at the lane. Fantastic nights.

Agreed - that Inter 3-1 win on my 26th birthday is easily my favourite WHL experience. Wembley will need to be rocking and almost full in order to top the Glory Glory nights under the lights at WHL.

As an aside I'd imagine that if we get 80,000+ for each of the Wembley games in the UCL it will help in negotiations for naming rights at the new stadium. Nobody will be keen to sponsor a stadium that is half empty most of the time so its important we demonstrate that we can fill 61k regularly (if the ticket pricing is smart).

In the CL? That must be the bet of the year

Think it'll be a slight worry for the club hierarchy if we don't sell minimum 85k for Wednesday's game.
I'm going as the price was great value but mainly because I've never seen us live in champions league game before. I was a little surprised how many tickets were still available a week before the game.
If it was Burnley at the new stadium and costing £45+ no chance I'd be going and a lot will feel the same.
We've obviously a big fan base but fact it's still not sold out fully with game approaching does raise a couple of question marks as to whether we will sell out new stadium for the small games.

Maybe it will lead to some more reasonable pricing in the new stadium

If the club expect an average of 53k at the new stadium as they do...... It stands to reason they expect sub 50k crowds for the less attractive games..... Doubt they're at all concerned

I think we'll have a good atmosphere. We've never seen Wembley being used as a 'home' game except for England and no one really makes an effort there except the band. With 75-80k behind the team, it's gunna be rocking

Hopefully our team scores a early goal against Monoco to get the crowd going...

Bear in mind there will be something like 15k more season tickets made available to the 50k waiting list once the new stadium is open...

We had an attendance of 34k for the same opponents last season in what was effectively a dead rubber with similar pricing. I don't imagine all 50k+ people have bought tickets for next week's game solely because it's in the Champions League rather than the Europa League.

Finally got mine in the post. Surprised they sent tickets for all 3 games at once. It means I have 12 match tickets in my house, making them instantly the most valuable items in my house

down to fewer than 200 seats left now
lots of yellow blocks, but each just has a few scattered seats

unless they release more again tomorrow....this is going to be a full sell out

Just booked mine... Can't say no to being in a crowd that size, at Wembley, for Champions League.
It will now be classed as a 90,000 sell out as that's how many have sold.
Yes, there will be people who bought to sell etc. but you've still got to think it's going to be 80,000+.
No English team has had that kind of attendance for a "home" fixture in the CL.

I felt a bit emotional seeing my 3 Champions League tickets. This is why I love football.
Now how do I ensure to keep them all safe (n)
