My Wembley record is getting better and better

I do worry for us next season playing all our home games there. I hope you don't have a season ticket! (No offence)

I was behind the goal Toby scored.
Atmosphere was amazing till there second goal and then went flat. Then Toby scored a boy that was it place went crazy until half time and the players was roared into the changing rooms.
Then second first 10 mins was good but soon came to a frustrated moan which I think translated into the pitch.
All in all I'd give it a good 7 overall but certainly a few 10 moments.
Journey home was a bit of a nightmare.
1hr took to get to Stanmore ( about 50 mins was just to get to Wembley station ) another 45 mins to get out of the car park then 35 mins drive back to MK.
Looked like a sweaty mess by the end of that
Can anyone explain why there is always that black border etc on seatings near the pitch when it comes to champions league and stadiums. I assume its to make sure the advertising around pitch side isnt obscured in any way and is prominent but thats an assumption,
Is that a straight train into Harrow & Wealdstone or go into Euston first?Get the train from MK to Harrow & Wealdstone next time, then the underground to Wembley Central
You'd probably have been home around 11.15
If you're going in from MK you should be able to get a train that stops at Harrow. No need to go into Euston. Is that a straight train into Harrow & Wealdstone or go into Euston first?Get the train from MK to Harrow & Wealdstone next time, then the underground to Wembley Central

Think its more to do about helping supporters create an atmosphere. WHL helps. Wembley doesn't. How can you join in songs when your half a mile away?I love the way many are saying the atmosphere was crap compared to WHL. The amount of people usually moaning on the match day thread that the atmosphere at WHL is bad and are home support is shit.
Do you think many of those that usually moan, and actually went last night now realise that a) the atmosphere always sound better in the ground rather than on the radio/tv and b) it's actually quite hard to keep the singing going for any length of time.
I'm not having a pop at anyone, it's just one of my bugbears that people constantly moan that our home support is shocking, when it's not that bad and just a reflection on modern day match experiences.

Started in 87, I've managed to miss all the wins we've had there.
I think I've seen Spurs lose there either 5 or 6 times.
I tried to break the curse by going to see England vs Montenegro in a qualifier...we drew 0-0.
You ran?I found a really quick exit from Wembley into central London.
The sewers? Smart.I found a really quick exit from Wembley into central London.
What was creative about the lineup?Regarding the atmosphere, no stadium anywhere with anybodys fans is going to be rocking when the team on the pitch stink the place out and imo thats exactly what we did for a large proportion of the game.
We looked good at first until they scored. Then it was far too slow. We were 2.0 down and Monaco just sat back watching us run the clock down as Toby passed to Verts..... to Toby.... to Verts.... back to Toby.... to Verts..... to Davies... ooh no one out wide... back to Verts.
It was fkin awful and back to AVB style. Hated it.
Second half was much better and we deserved a draw imo as Monaco did absolutely nothing really but as a game it stank. Neither goalkeeper had a save to make hardly. Looked much better when Dembele came on and Lamela went off. He was utter crap and anyone defending that performance is talking shite imo. Not saying he's shite. Just last night had a crap game and should have gone sooner. Alli did more on the wing in 2 mins than Lamela had done the entire time he was on.
I still cant believe the line up Poch put out to be honest. It went against everything he's done since he's been here. Champions league is not the place to start getting creative especially when you're not even playing on your own pitch.
Missed Rose big time.
If we play attacking football and arent trailing by 2 fkin goals it'll be rocking.
And no, 85,000 fans aren't going to be as full of beans as a small group of hardcore home & away fans. Still got as much right to turn up and watch Spurs when they get the opportunity though.
